The most scared I've been restoring really old irish stone cottage - Rebuilding the walls.

This week we have some tricky jobs to do before we can progress with the big renovations. After uncovering the original stone walls, there's some structural issues that need sorting before we can rectify the roof or dig out the old floor.
The gable wall we recently exposed, with its forgotten fireplace is going to look amazing once we get it repointed with our hot lime mix, we just need to fix it first!
We also tackle the large hole left from the chimney coming down.
There's big progress with our move to Ireland as we get more and more settled with the purchase of a new Irish car!

I’m stuck in bed today with the old invisible illness, you have no idea how glad I am to see one of your videos pop up. It’s very frustrating as a ‘Louise’ type of person to not be able to use your body to be productive! At least I can live vicariously and be happy someone somewhere else is getting on with things!
