With 2 new Mad Max films on the horizon, I knew I had to make a video on one of my all time favorite post-apocalyptic action flicks, Fury Road!

In many ways it's a miracle this movie was even released with the development hell it went through for 15 years, and it feels like some of that bad luck rubbed off on me, cause my PC nearly died multiple times through the making of this video!

Make sure to like and subscribe if you enjoyed it! I'm off to hopefully fix whatever's wrong with my computer, have a great day everyone!

  • How ironic to think that Tom Hardy And Charlize Theron had conflict while their stunt doubles literally fell in love in the midst.

Fury Road is a rare example of a movie where it feels like the worldbuilding extends beyond what we directly see. That's not uncommon in sci fi or fantasy books, but Movies don't go the extra mile in that category nearly as often.

My favorite fact is, that the gigahorse actually has a working twin v8 engine. They could have easily just made it look that way and hide a big diesel underneath. But instead they really bolted two v8 together with a custom gearbox adaptor, and the thing actually worked. That's insane and unnecessary and impractical and I love it

That guy with the guitar that spits fire was outstanding.

Not a big fan of Carlize Theron but she is right. It's highly disrespectful to constantly be late.

I dont care what you say, this is arguably the greatest action film of all time and easily one of the best films ever
  • My all time favorite film. Sad to hear Tom Hardy is so inconsiderate of others' time. He's such an enjoyable actor.
  • The implication of more movies like this one are being made brings tears to my eyes and hope in humanity’s future
  • @kummynipples
It's so funny that Theron and Hardy hated each other on set because Max and Furiosa have such great chemistry on screen

0:20 "No one watches a Mad Max film for the dialogue!" - Me, coming out of Furiosa
  • @buttamob6450
There was nothing like watching this in theater. Me and my friends lost our shit when we saw the guitar flamethrower!! Dude was so into it
  • @thetvbaby83
RIP Night Rider. When you look to the night sky, remember his name!
  • @sana-cm7oc
George Miller's films are medically accurate because he is a physician. He graduated medical school and completed a residency in emergency medicine.
  • It's always been fuckin nuts to me that they actually built all cars on the movie. A lot of ingenuity and straight up badass wheels of hell.
  • The only thing they kinda messed up on was everyone grabbing on to hot exhaust pipes or the blower intakes when they were climbing all over the vehicles, otherwise it was a great movie.
  • @dspsblyuth
Love how oil is such a rare resource in this universe but they just shoot flamethrowers from the cars for fun
  • @Psyrecx
I always assumed the silver spray was just paint they were inhaling, to get high in battle.
  • @itsmebilly725
A bit of trivia you didn't mention was that the design for the buzzards were inspired by the spike covered Volkswagen beetle from the 1974 film "The Cars That Ate Paris", a movie that was clearly inspirational to the look and style of the Mad Max films.
  • I mean I always assumed the inhaling of metallic spray paint was a kind of post-apocalyptic “berserker” move, in that one takes in a large dose of hallucinogens before committing a kamikaze in battle. Paint abusers will tell you metallic paint is most effective as well.
  • I had a neighbor we called Cosmo. He used to huff silver krylon paint from bread bags. His face was always silver.
