Very cool to see MLS academy and MLS next players get a run out against premiere league hopefuls. As for first team players Nagbe is a legend and Cucho es el hombre.

Digne played centre-back 2nd half which was interesting. Standouts for me were Rogers, Barrenechea, Feeney, Onana and Ned.

Cucho definitely looks worth a look seems like he could be a good signing his finishing and move look outstanding

The very purpose of a “friendly” is to blood new players and apply/test new tactics within a casual setting, hence the result is not a concern as the score line was a product of the aforementioned!. The result for Columbus Crew would of meant a lot more, hence the reason they were considered as opposition in the first place, so stay calm and UTV

😂😂😂 So many people have written our season off in the comments because of a friendly defeat where we played a massively under strength squad who haven't played together before against one of the best teams in the whole Americas who are currently flying and 100% match fit. Calm down, friendlies are no indicator for the season ahead.

Good run out for the academy lads to see if they're ready. Safe to say they're not quite there yet. Will be good for them playing at a higher level though. Intrigued to see the Dortmund line up

Good game for Villa in order to weed out the players who dont have place in the 1st squad. With Konsa, Watkins, Dibu, Mings and Kamara back it will be fine. Still having problems with the high defence line thou... was way better when Onana came in.
