I am a fan of Mike Mentzer's training principles but I have never followed his direction on nutrition.

I used creatine for over a year while weight lifting. No effect. Would like Kay’s opinion on glyNAC.

I disagree with Bart's comments on creatine. For me it gives me a slight boost where I can do more reps, and it also helps with workout recovery. There is substantial evidence that creatine monohydrate is beneficial for strength training, so perhaps more reading is required by Bart. When it comes to carbs, Bart is spot on. The body can use protein and fats to create glucose in a process called gluconeogenesis. You do not need to eat a gram of carbs, so they are not an essential nutrient. As for his comments on body building and shows, I am not a fan, but to each his own.

The gains, bro, the gains. Yikes. Why would you speak that way? If the goal is to appeal to a very small segment of your audience then by all means. If the goal is to appeal to a wider audience then perhaps change your affect.
