Hello and welcome back to the Most Amazing Channel on the internet! I am your host, Rebecca Felgate and I thought you would like this video – we have the Top 10 Scariest Cults you DON’T want to meet. Before I get started – it is customary for me to ask you a question… so take this with a pinch of salt – cults are pretty bad afterall – but if you were going to join a cult….what would it be about. The only cult I can see myself joining is a cheese cult. Where we….basically just eat cheese…. You know. Maybe just drink a bit of wine… but not like in a culty way… we’ll just drink it…..

I have my own cult, it's called "Sitting on my bed watching YouTube videos even though I have a project deadline tomorrow"
  • I kind of want to join a cult about procrastination. Eh, I'll do it tomorrow.

As an hindu myself, just to clear up any confusions: So, the Hindu gods she mentioned, Shiva and kali (both mispronounced lol), yes we believe that they are associated with death and destruction but not in the inhumane and negative way the aghori showed at. All. In fact, most of the festivals dedicated to them are celebrated in a very joyous and happy way. It's more like Shiva's responsible for maintaining the balance in the world, of both the positive and negative energy. They just "look" scary, in contrast to how the rest of the gods appear. If anything, they're actually considered as protectors, and many may turn to them in times of sadness or fear. Just like what happens with most cults which twist Christianity in a sick way, that's exactly what these "aghori" people did. There are many Hindu families who worship Shiva and kali, mine included, and let me say cults like these absolutely disgust me, because not only do they disgrace what we believe in, but they lead people to develop a completely twisted perception which isn't even remotely true. Sorry for that rant XDD but it just had to be said, it HAD to be

I once thought that I was in contact with a cult. They had such delicious jams and jellies. Later it just turned out that my brother had signed me up to the spread of the month club for Christmas.
  • Thanks for mentioning Scientology!!!! I showed my wife the South Park episode about that she freaked out about affluent people falling for it I find it sad and funny.
  • @Kaii-099
Kind of sad there wasn’t actually a Mickey mouse cult in this video lmao
  • @TooCool4You
Was I the only one wanting to see the "Micky mouse cult" on here, TBH I am kind of disappointed 😅😂
  • @FromAgonyToLight
I’d want to be in a “we don’t lie ever even if it hurts” kind of cult. Lies are FORBIDDEN and if you’re caught lying you’re forced to eat a piece of cake then get out

I actually used to live in Arkansas. I lived about 30 minutes from the chamber of commerce, and from what I was told from members of my family, about 15 minutes away from a cult called the "Purple People". Now, this cult was strange, I don't know much about it, but from what I was told they, obviously, wore nothing but purple. They lived in purple houses, ate purple food (I think) and had long dreads that they would have to sling over their shoulder, the members were all African American, and they used to come into shops and try to sell crystals. A few weeks ago when I remembered living near the cult, I decided to look them up to see if they were a legitimate cult, and sure enough it turns out they were. Not only that, they were a sex cult too which kinda weirds me out that I used to live so close to a sex cult. A few details might be fuzzy, but then again this was a long time ago, and might be different now idk

Maybe it's a cult... Me: maybe jails a nice hotel where people temporarily check in🙂
  • @Skateordie193
I was once in a cult. People usually join them not knowing its a cult. Most people who join cults have experienced a traumatic event or abuse in the past. Some have depression and no one to go to. The leader and members seem so nice at first. Those people then finally feel like they have someone who will listen and someone who actually cares. Which makes them blind to the fact its a cult. Some eventually catch on later on and it is not always easy to leave.
