A fun fact about Papyrus. It's actually heavily implied in an aborted Genocide run that he's capable of using Gaster Blasters. If you spare Papyrus during a Genocide run, then go and hang out with him, his dialogue is this: "How lucky of you! Had I only used my special attack, you surely would have been blasted to... Hey. Wait. Where's my special attack?" This pretty much confirms that Papyrus can use Gaster Blasters. But, knowing him, he probably doesn't use them due to him viewing such an attack as a last resort method. After all, the only real thing holding Papyrus back is his endless kindness. Take that away, and he could probably do some serious damage.

Everyone talking about Sans getting completely caught off guard trying to dodge his own attack, but I don't think anyone's saying enough about the fact Undyne the Undying was the only character to tank THREE HITS from the blaster.

Man I don't know where you all originally started feeling bad about the genocide run but for me it's always Muffet. It's just the cutest monster and gives you no reason for hate.
