Personally I wouldn't be able to sleep if I spent that amount of money. I'd be eating, watching movies, exploring, and enjoying everything.

I flew that exact same trip 1st class yesterday. It’s a pretty accurate representation. I fly Emirates 1st from NZ to London return about 6 times a year. A couple of comments: 1. Yes the food & drink is top-class but when you fly so much, what you appreciate most is the simple quietness and privacy of 1st class service. And being able to get what you want when you want. I mostly sleep. 2. You asked about what happens if you get turbulence in the shower. Step 1 is sit on the seat in the shower. Step 2 is you quickly grab the towel and return to your seat in your suite. 3. You missed the best bit which comes from flying 1st with a connection. In Dubai as you exit the aircraft you get greeted by a personal escort who guides you through the airport - including riding on a buggy if it’s a longer transfer - and fast-tracks you through security directly to the 1st class lounge. The London-Dubai flight is only 6-7hrs which is too short to enjoy all the comforts and get a good sleep. I prefer the Dubai to Auckland leg which is about 17hrs - this is enough time to enjoy the amazing service and still get 10–12 hrs deep sleep. 😊 You also get a chauffeur car service picking you up from home and dropping you off at the other end. If you reach Platinum status there are also some additional benefits - which are not openly published but you get told in a personal letter from the Emirates Chairman when you reach Platinum - which are very useful and makes flying Emirates 1st the nearest thing to flying via private jet. I’ll be doing it all over again in about 6 weeks time…

I flew Emirates first class about twenty years ago from Dubai to Shanghai, and I was impressed that they knew my name when I boarded the aircraft. Everything about it was a wonderful experience, and I've still got my complimentary Bulgari gift set.
  • Beautiful memories πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸΎThis was my work place until 2020 as a First class Flight Attendant with Emirates.Thank you for sharing πŸ™πŸΎ
  • There are 2 things I love about Tim's videos. 1: He's relatable and always being himself and doesn't downplay to his audience. 2: No matter where he is, (whether it's the worst hotel in the world or a business class flight), all of his videos are watchable and really fun.

No inbetween with Tim is there? One minute he is in the depths of the Worst rated Adelphi hotel in Liverpool, the next he is flying first class Emirates to Dubai. Best channel on YouTube atm, keep it up Tim!

Experiencing Emirates First Class is a truly unforgettable experience that sets a new standard for luxury air travel. From the moment you step on board to the moment you touch down at your destination, you are treated to a level of service and sophistication that is second to none, making it a journey worth savoring and cherishing for years to come.

I've done business class from London Heathrow to Dubai with Emirates. Emirates recently won the APEX World Class Airline award. It was richly deserved.
  • You poor thing having to fly first class, the sacrifices you make for us Tim 😁
  • Brought back such happy memories of my husband and I got updated quite a few times to First Class. Lost my darling hubby 2020 in Dubai Hospital so had to repatriate back home to Scotland after 16 years in Dubai. Returning for holiday soon Business Class of course might be lucky to get upgraded again. Love Emirates and Dubai ❀❀❀

Can't help but feel sorry for the other passengers in first class... If I paid a premium to travel in first class, I would be absolutely furious about having to listen to a youtuber narrate their video at all hours onboard instead of during editing...
  • This is my favourite travel channel. I have not left my home country of Singapore for nine years, so I have to live vicariously through your videos.
  • @noken11
When you fly Perth Australia to Dubai, 12 hour flight, then 1st class makes sense. Put your pjs on, champagne, meal, sleep, breakfast, shower then land, wonderful.
  • Weather in a plane makes us realise we cannot control everything! Stay safe Tim
  • "It all tastes the same. It varies in taste." Top notch journalism there!

Only Tim could get a broken shower, trapped in his pj’s and slippers and struck by lightening all on his first class emirates experience πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. This is why you are my favourite YouTube channel β€πŸ‘πŸ»
  • @AboodSabneh
Me watching this knowing my broke ass will never go to first class

I felt like I was on the plane as well. Everything you showed was a WOW moment. Thank you for allowing us to join you without the feeling of being crowded in with everyone watching from all walks of life πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
