“She proficient at swinging on poles and sliding on her knees”. I didn’t know this was a game about Gman’s mum.

"its a lot like Tarantino films" - people who have only seen Kill Bill vol. 1's trailer.

Ah, 2009, just a few short year before the entire Triple A industry started to ask themselves “Why do games need to be fun, exactly?”
  • "more anime, but not like I watch that stuff." Secret weeb? I think so.
  • @shortinos
I miss this era when there were just so many games being released. So many single player shooters with decent budgets. Doesn't happen anymore. Single player shooters are either smaller indie stuff with low cost production or AAA but they take years and years to come out, and even then it's very very rare. I can only think of the new Stalker now and that Atomic Heart game.

I bet the genderbent version would be called “Hard”

Speaking of laughing at fart jokes: I almost pissed myself when that car exploded with a fart noise. Splendid!
  • Literarlly NOBODY talks about this game...I've had so much fun with It!

I'm still salty over WET 2 being cancelled.

I love Wet. I must have finished this 500 times when it came out. Everyone said it was stupid and I was crazy but I wouldn't stop. Watching it today only makes me wanna play it again.

Man, I use to play the crap out of the demo for this game. It was oddly satisfying sliding up stairs. Good times.
  • @billsmith30
Honestly if that was what they were going for with the title, "Wetwork" with her drenched in blood for the cover art would've worked way better. This is one of those games that most people played the demo but never actually bought the game
  • I hate to say this but I like the red white and black artstyle when Rubi's in rage mode.
  • @wsnt
Reminds me of somewhat of a Grindhouse Film and two other games “Total Overdose” and “Stranglehold” to me. I remember playing this a long time ago, underrated

Picked it up during qurantine, I really enjoyed it. The melee is a bit clunky but the shooting and rage mode moments are a blast once you get a flow of things. The car sequences are horrific on the hardest difficulty but manageable. I'm hoping for a spiritual sequel to this

Not forgotten by me I love this game in all its awkwardness

2009 is the year of underrated gems. The Saboteur is one of my favorites of that generation, also has that exploitation movie feel.
