What The 49ers Aren’t Telling You About Brock Purdy…

As someone who got to watch him at Iowa State, he always had a lot of “wow” plays. The issue was he had an equal amount of “what is he doing” plays. It seems Shanahan has helped him manage those negative plays

I couldn't belive he was Mr. irrelevant, he was insane at Iowa State and I had a good feeling he was gonna find his place in the NFL. Happy for him and hopes he continues his success in san Fran

I'm a 49ers fan and I love watching Purdy

As a life long Iowa State fan of 29 years old… BP was and IS my favorite QB from our school with Seneca Wallace being #2 on that list. I think BP with Hall was LETHAL and with X catching deep routes we had every reason to be undefeated in ‘21. Not sure what happened (I blame coaching) cause the talent shows itself. I hope BP continues to show out and prove just had tough he is. Swagger will always be a non issue with the kid. Anyway… GO CYCLONES

Mans got talent not gonna lie he managed to beat the dolphins, buccanners, and our biggest rival the seahawks all while being a rookie. I hope Shanahan puts him as our starting QB and I'd love to see what he can do for us.

I reffed several of his high school games at Perry , he is a good kid and a great player .. as is his brother ! Best of luck to him.

I think Purdy actually compliments Shanahan's scheme. They don't need a amazing hall of fame QB, they need someone who starts from scratch understanding Shanahan's direction and reason the team is built the way it is. Getting a QB whose got 8 years under their belt would need their own tendencies broken. Purdy having been the last player in the draft makes me think he could be similar to Brady in that he was a late draft pick but once he got the job he never gives it back. I mean look at the intangibles over the last 3 games guys, yeah he might not be able to throw 70+ yards but he will never need to. The little things he does shows a lot of promise. He is still a rookie and will make mistakes but I think he has a good shot at starting next year. Do I think he could take the Lions to a super bowl? No. But he could take the 49ers or several other teams probably.

I’m a rams fan have been for over 50 years. This year I’m still a rams fan but I’m actually routing for the niners. Ever since they picked up Mac this teem is the best. I think it will be the 9rs and the bills. With Von out, 9rs win the sb. Go 9rs.

This 49ers fan hated the pick but as time progressed and I saw how he played in the preseason I grew to like him. Then Lance got hurt and I really dreaded the fact that Purdy was one play away from a Jimmy G injury from being the starter. Now I feel more comfortable with Brock than either the first two qbs

He was the same as Carson Strong, but Carson didn't try hard enough, Purdy did. It's the guy who puts in the work.

Brock can play football, he's looks really good out there. His Trea Turner slide for a first down, was beautiful. That picture would make a great poster

I agree, as a Ravens fan, we got to many problems to go deep in the playoffs! I am all in on 49ers, because they are fun to watch, and they earned their spot! It's going to be hard for any team to beat them even if they were on their 4 string QB! Purdy is getting a chance, and is running with it!!!

I'm cautious. 49er fans like me who remember 2010 thought Troy Smith was the real deal because he won his first 2 games. But I do really like Purdy's ball placement and footwork.
