So sorry for all these people ! In the night in winter too, so sad !😱😣
  • That building went down really quick; it's easy to see the corruption involved building that deathtrap.

It’s actually shocking that some buildings collapse in a blink of an eye immediately after the megathrust earthquake hits the cities in Turkey, while some others don’t. It seems construction regulations in Turkey, especially in small cities should be reconsidered and replanned. Turkey is an Earthquake-prone country. I hope this tragedy awakes the authorities in this beautiful country.

Oh, my God, bless these people with the strength to heal. That's horrifying and why I'll never live in a high rise.

Oh my God. Seriously most people would have tried to get out if they were even awake enough to comprehend what was happening. It's so tragic 😥
  • Imagine walking on a Friday night, walking home from work. Thankful for the fact the weekend was just around the corner. Then suddenly, car alarms go off, buildings collapse, and people are yelling "run" or "earthquake". Even I can't imagine being in their shoes.

Must be one of the most frightening things someone could ever experience!

I have witnessed an aggressive Earthquake in Morocco years ago and this do not look like an earthquake, or at least not naturally occured. Very very strange footage.

Peaople really had no chance of escape here. They were asleep in their homes. What a tragedy.

I hope all those people in the street were able to get to safety.

  • @Khayran
So a building just collapsed with no ground shaking? First time I've seen that during an earthquake
  • @commandoslayer
And that more people will die not only from being crushed, but also from starvation after being trapped in the rubble.
