  • Great interview. I really enjoyed it. Skylar Diggins is one of the players I developed huge love and respect for. I remember when she had a terrible rookie season, and it did not look like she belonged in the league. During the offseason she put in some serious work. I don't think she played overseas that offseason, like most of the women do, and just focused on getting better. She came back that second season a monster and playing incredible basketball. She probably would have been the MVP of the league if she didn't get hurt. I really admired her dedication and committment to get better. That memory of her has always stuck with me.

This was great convo. Sky has been a favorite of mine for years. I am so glad that she has been excelling in the W. I hope she is able to win chip before she retires.

Skylar Diggins is what every little girl that plays basketball should model themselves after. She’s the full package she’s a dog on the court and smart beautiful young lady off the court. ✌🏾🙏🏾 to her for staying solid
  • I still remember me being a freshman at Washington high school and her a senior but I never knew who she was who would’ve thought she is where she is now

Great piece. Much respect for women hoopers and all they do and go through. We need more segments highlighting women in sport.
  • I'm a big time WNBA fan and will always support these young ladies like I support the NBA one thing I can't stand is all the negative comments people always speak on these ladies to me if you don't have anything good to say keep it to your miserable selves.
  • @jestoril75
my favourite player right now. i love a’ja wilson too but skylar is my favourite since she was at notre dame.
  • Skylar please 🙏 come play in Chicago. The Sky needs another WNBA Championship with you on the roster that can happen.
  • 13:04 This moment right here is one of the reasons I KNEW back when she stepped away from playing for "personal reasons" that she was pregnant with her second. I knew she wasn't a 'quitter' like so many accused. I knew it was for family and for herself and her health, because she knew that Phoenix has her back in motherhood. The team, her fans, we support her.

Lol at comments saying y'all never heard of her. She never heard of u either. But u know who has heard of her? Jay-Z, CP3, KD etc and companies like Puma, Body Armour, Clorox etc that she has endorsement deals with. I'm guessing she's done pretty well w/out y'all 😆
  • Sista❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏I love you Skylar chase greatness like you always knew you could

Now, if she could bring herself to stop griping so much about her stance in life. She has to understand that the WNBA will NEVER get better, and she may need to diversify herself. Even when she stops playing pro ball, things will not change...
  • Physical, mental, with a touch of agility and patience. Just like from the ABA to the NBA. Stop wanting it now and start wanting it when
