Death Battle Omni Man vs Homelander Reaction

Fun fact: Even Homelander's VA YongYea said that Homelander stood minus infinite chance against Omniman.

I love that Omniman is so far ahead of Homelander that he can just take a moment to teach him how to throw a punch during the fight

From another comment I made for this fight: “The funny thing about the super scream, they actually needed to nerf Omniman to make it viable. Viltrumites are weak to range of specific audio frequencies, not the actual decibel level of the scream. Homelander would have no way of finding the necessary range of frequencies - let alone matching it with his vocal cords alone. Mark (Nolan’s son and main protagonist of Invincible) needed to have a small mechanical implant put into his ear in order to have his vestibular system take damage. They gave Homelander an advantage by having his scream automatically match the frequencies necessary to induce damage. Omniman is just that much stronger than him”.

Honestly, the gap between these two is colossal. Omni Man would solo the entire cast of the Boys with both hands tied behind his back, while doing a Sudoku puzzle with his feet.

This was undoubtly the best death battle they done. So much brutality... Love both Omni Man and Homelander. Played by two outstanding actors

Well that's the thing. Omniman DOES love Debbie. That's why he fed Homelander his heart. He easily could have just snapped his neck or decapitated him. He respected the guardians deep down that's why he tried to kill them quick. Homelander genuinely pissed him off so he made his death as brutal and terrifying as possible

We all knew that Omni man was going to fold homelander like a chair.

Omni-Man isn't the Superman analog in Invincible. That's actually Invincible, the alien raised as a human.

I'd have bet the farm on Omniman. Out of all the Superman knockoffs Homelander is easily the weakest. And wiz described their characters so well Ominman is a warrior while Homelander is a bully. Great reaction as always.

this has got to be the most brutal fight they've done, or rather; the most brutal finisher in their history. can't wait for another episode of Death Battle with you guys. :D

If you watch carefully, when homelander first starts talking to omniman, omniman quickly glanced in Debbie's direction He knew she was dead there the whole time

The only reason the fight lasted as long as it did was because Omni-Man wanted Homelander to suffer.

Omni was only playing with Homelander until Homelander threatened his son. That was when he decided to end it.

probably the best death of season 8, 100% the most brutal death of the season. the fight wasn't very long (or honestly a close match either) but goddamn was it good

Something a lot of people miss, look at Omnimans initial attack on Homelander. He attacks him, the mug flies into the air, we see him blitz Homelander and throw him aside THEN the mug lands on Homelander. That initial attack took less than a second.

This is going to be great! Despite Omi-Man trying to conquer Earth, saying that cold line about his wife, and brutalizing his son, I like his character. Plus, he had that small moment of growth in Invincible. Also, he's not sick like Homelander lol.

I love how everybody knew Omni Man was gonna win back when that battle first released. Also love how Omni Man stopped playing around when Mark was threatened.

Homelander is literally a Big Fish in a Small Pond.
