Unauthorized helmets, missing plates and missing mirrors - a recurring theme during this SAICT enforcement operation.

SAICT is under DOTr, with enforcers that have been deputized by LTO.

SAICT stands for Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation.

    Give them a ticket and confiscate the substandard helmet. That way they will be forced to buy the real and authorized helmet.

    Back then, I had the same helmet with that guy at 2:47 and was approved by DTI so they gave me the sticker. I had doubts at first that they will reject it but weird enough DTI approved it

    It’s cheap plastic bump helmet modelled on an Ops-Core FAST SF ballistic helmet that an air softer would use. It would offer almost zero protection in an accident as there’s no structural foam inside that would dissipate the energy in a crash. Even with a real Ballistic helmet (which would cost a lot more than a motorcycle helmet) , it would be terrible to use for a crash helmet. The bottom line, a motorcycle crash helmet is designed for a specific purpose and that’s why the law requires them.

    What is the policy about motorcycles without plates yet from LTO, will it be ticketed? I experienced this during renewal, the MVIC required me to have a temporary plate done which means I paid for it despite the fact that during the first registration I already paid for the plate that I did not receive yet.

    How do know if the drivers of 4 wheels have licenses .? You assume that they have? Why not check them also. Just asking....
