  • Hi Matt enjoyed your blog again and brought back memories of going down by train (run around weekly ticket) down to Ramsgate. Had amusement arcades and big beach. Love to watch the hovercraft landing on the hover port. Miss seeing donkeys rides at Ramsgate and Margate, were don't have them here in Perth Australia 😅.

Visited Ramsgates ground last season for a pre season game against Dover and was very impressed with them. Like you, loved the ground and they have so much space to develop it further. Keep up the good work as I enjoy your vlogs

Cheers Matt. As an 'Ite' I was happy to come away with a 0.0 ! See you again

Is a top setup at Ramsgate to be fair to them, hope for them that Margate stay up so they can have their big derby! Good video again Matt.

Reason why there is such a big gap between pitch and terraces is because in 2021 we put in the 3G pitch but before that we had a grass pitch which at one point was the biggest grass pitch in England

i definitely think ramsgate can definitely be promoted; they been trying to go up for a few seasons now. Could i kindly ask you to consider going Clapton cfc either next weekend? If this is too soon in your schedule, perhaps go on April 1st or April 20th where they could win the League this day. 😅 They have the oldest ground in London i heard and they are fan owned. i plan on being their member in July time this year once i manage my money a little better. :) Fisher fc is another suggestion because they are fan owned they say. Lincoln city if you fancy seeing their ground :) And lastly chipstead in leafy Surrey would be incredible! For Scotland, i genuinely don’t mind where you go. All about you planning these trips. If you look at the channel on this last year, you made good progress so well done. Thank you for today’s video upload Matt.

The reason the pitch is so far away is that the original playing surface was as big as Wembley’s. When the club was in a bad way on and off the pitch in the early 80s the manager realised having such a big playing area did us no favours against the better teams who exploited the spaces. So it was agreed to reduce the pitch size, hence the big gaps. One bit of bad news was the £600 burglars stole from the bar this week.
  • A couple of people were complaining about how long the intro to my latest vlog was but yours is twice as long lol. It's a bit weird how there is a big gap behind the goal.
  • The friendlies between Ramsgate & Margate used to be so 1 sided in Ramsgates favour, I imagine they still are now too
  • matt i noticed that taylor was playing for ramsgate we used to have him at lewes he used to score loads of goals and from what i understand hes still banging them in at ramsgate..anyway matt will you be coming to lewes when the chats come here?
