SIBO & IBS Caused By VITAMIN DEFICIENCY?

Can SIBO, IBS & GERD be caused by a deficiency in thiamine (vitamin B1)? The answer is YES.

Almost every function of the gut requires input from the autonomic nervous system, and in the context of thiamine deficiency... this system becomes broken. Thiamine deficiency can cause:

- Low stomach acid and gastric emptying
- Low pancreatic enzymes
- Poor bile flow
- Slow intestinal motility
- Lower brush border enzymes
- Heightened gut inflammation

Elliot, you are Godsent; after learning about "Thiamine" watching your videos, I've started using Benfotiamine---and you know what? 10 years of my battle with Acid Reflux, Digestive disorders, lethargy, Low stomach acid, brain fog, severe Sinusitis, etc......etc.... just disappeared. Keep up the good work brother. May God bless you. I am planning to advance to TTFD from Thiamax

More than 20 years of agonizing gut history which converted to dizziness and tens of other diseases Elliot talked about DISAPPEARED after taking thiamin for 1 week. Following his protocol which includes B complex and magnesium/potassium and I cannot tell you how grateful I am to find this guy. I mean OMG !!! No practitioner could identify this and I have suffered a lottttttt. From IBS C to brain fog to lethargy to vertigo to anxiety to what not. I don't remember when I felt this good or you can say "NORMAL". Thank you so much for this !

I am so glad I found your channel. I have dealt with SIBO symptoms since childhood. As a child, my mom took me to doctors for fatigue and extreme hunger issues, weight gain, weird pains. She thought I had thyroid problems. Doctors never found anything wrong and said I just needed to lose weight. I complained of gut issues to doctors as an adult and was told I had IBS. I was prescribed meds to make my bowels move and would have debilitating diarrhea from them. Then in my late 20’s I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Lots of meds given, infusions, vitamins etc. After that was cleared up, I thought I had a gluten allergy because every time I ate gluten I would have huge gut issues and a reemergence of my fibromyalgia symptoms. The last several years, I’ve had nerve pains and chronic inflammation. I saw another of your videos about Thiamine and immediately ordered Benfotiamine and TTFD. I’m taking 900 mg Benfotiamine and 150 mg of the TTFD. It’s miraculous how much better I’m feeling. I’m having regular bowel movements for the first time in my life. My inflammation is so much better. The weird nerve pains in my shoulders and legs have almost gone entirely. The tingling sensation on my back that drives me crazy is rare now. My bloating has improved, gas issues decreased. I have energy for the first time in years. My appetite has deceased. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I am going to increase my dose of each again to 4 tablets of each instead of 3 per day and see if I can everything to go away entirely. I feel like this must have been the missing link my whole life. Also, I have been able to eat gluten with zero symptoms, so the gluten sensitivity must have just been because of my other gut issues. I am telling all of my friends about Thiamine and am sending them to your channel. 😘

I started the Benfotiame B1 Magnesium Spirulina & Potassium and my digestive problems are leaving & chronic vatigue and stomach pain has been leaving - I have had this problem for around seven years & my primary care physician said I was fine just low in B1 but he never told me the lack of B1 was the source of my chronic pain because he has no idea. U are an amazing doctor helping to heal so many suffering people.

I had developed fibromyalgia and IBS many years. Lately, GERD too. Thank you for talking about thiamine. Now, I understand its role. I have periods of remissions and bad periods. I just realized that when I am consistently taking my Vitamins ( B1 included) the pains subsided . Now, I am taking it more seriously. The GERD started to subside, body pains subsided and brain fog lifted. Thanks for discussing initial side effects too. I slept out of fatigue, the 1st day I took it again. I also added Berberine. Thank you again.
