David Fincher’s The Social Network is the stunning tale of a new breed of cultural insurgent: a punk genius who sparked a revolution and changed the face of human interaction for a generation, and perhaps forever. Shot through with emotional brutality and unexpected humor, this superbly crafted film chronicles the formation of Facebook and the battles over ownership that followed upon the website’s unfathomable success. With a complex, incisive screenplay by Aaron Sorkin and a brilliant cast including Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and Justin Timberlake, The Social Network bears witness to the birth of an idea that rewove the fabric of society even as it unraveled the friendship of its creators.

the acting here is that much more amazing when you think about how Fincher made them do it millions of times and usually sorkin demands word for word. how did these actors do it??

You’re forgetting when Eduardo confronts Mark and threatens to sue him. Finest acting I’ve ever seen. 👌

People looking for Andrew's comment... GQ - "Stings, doesn't it?"
  • "You write your snide bullshit from a dark room because that's what the angry do nowadays..." Oh. My. God. What a line.

Great, but not perfect, Top 10... Why? Because I don't see the confrontation between Eduardo and Mark at the Facebook party: in my opinion, the finest scene in this absolute masterpiece 💎

For everyone arriving for the Andrew Garfield comment, it was a lie, it was never posted!

How DARE you leaving out Eduardo's last confrontation with Mark? What universe is this? Also, the arguing "wet" scene in California was pretty sweet.

I love this movie. One of my favorite things about it are the Winklevosses (I may have spelled the last name wrong). What I mean is that despite them being twins, they have distinct differences. Tyler is more impulsive than Cameron, while Cameron is more level headed. There a lot of things that show this, such as the University issue scene and the scene when they found out about Facebook. I especially love the line that Tyler said “I’m 6’5, 220 and there’s two of me.”

The more i watch the Cease and Desist scene.. the more i understand Marks “nice chair” argument. Hes right. You dont see the estate of the Inventor of the chair suing every dining set manufacturer
  • "Sir, I honestly don't think you're in any position to make that call" "I was the US treasury secretary. I'm in SOME position to make that call' I'm dying, I love this man 😅
  • U can’t forget andrews rant. Sorry I left my Prada at the cleaners along with my hoodie and my f*ck u flip flops.
