President Joe Biden exited the 2024 race this week with an endorsement of his vice president, Kamala Harris, for the top of his party's ticket. Democrats, who spent weeks pressuring Biden to end his reelection campaign over concerns about his age and ability to serve, quickly coalesced around Harris, who hit the campaign trail as a candidate for the first time this week. PBS News takes a look at what Harris has done so far and what it will take for her to become the Democratic nominee.
