  • I found your channel a few days ago, and I'm so glad I did. We have been homsteading for over 20 years, but we are still learning.

I had those dishes. The entire set. Inherited from my grandmother and used them for 20 years. Moved 2 years ago and got rid of about 70% of my belongings, including those dishes. I've been kind of kicking myself over those dishes. I donated them to the veterans so I'm sure someone is enjoying them as much as I did. I look forward to making this recipe!

It looks yummy. I make a similar dish as a winter dessert. Instead of frozen fruit, I add chopped pecans or walnuts and dark chocolate chips and serve with whipped or ice cream.

Tried this using a 9 x 13 glass baking dish...no complaints! Tasted just as good as the first time we had it : )

I love how you always put the tops on all your containers after measuring out 💛
  • @figmo397
That looks both amazing and decadent! I'd probably cut the recipe down to 1/4 of it, as I live alone.

Love the way her children are actually doing something meaningful instead of being glued to a phone or tablet! Salute to real parenting
  • I made it this morning after soaking my oats last night. So good!! Everyone in my family loved it. Thanks so much for the recipe! Love your channel!

I’m so glad that I’ve been led to your channel! I’m so interested in the homestead lifestyle and I’m looking forward to learning more and trying this delicious looking recipe! God bless!!
  • That reminds me of Amish baked oats that I've made many times. You added chopped fresh apples, cinnamon, raisins and walnuts. I made it for the holidays before, my family loves it! And it's good hot or cold
  • @cjohnson4342
Wow, looks delicious and thank you for taking care of those baby kitties. Your kids look like sweeties too!
  • I think my family is going to LOVE this recipe! We are an “ oatmeal eating lovin group,” but I’ve never prepared baked oatmeal before. Yum! Thank you for these videos.

Hello McElroy family, I was telling my daughter about a YouTube channel I was watching and she started laughing saying mom this is the family we had lunch with when we went out to Sara’s wedding in Illinois 😊 I remember them telling me how much I would have loved it at your farm, and they were right I do, my name is Heather and I’m from the Maine Tabernacle fellowship, my girls are Maranda, Kelsey, Erica and Hannah. I’ve been enjoying your videos so thanks for sharing. I’ll be making this recipe for breakfast soon. God Bless you all ❤️

I have oatmeal fermenting since yesterday.,I was going to make it on the stove the very simple way but the strength of the universe sent me this video to change the course of that oatmeal. In a couple of hours I will be in the kitchen making this dish ( without the sugars, oatmeal has too many carbs already) 😋

THE BEST OATMEAL we have ever had as a family!! Recently discovered you and your family, GOD BLESS! I've started meal prepping again to make working life easier! Oh my goodness, can I say beyond delicious!! I didn't make my yogurt, I used Greek Vanilla, what I had on had, and about 1/3 cup dried fruit, I think it was coconut and mango/apricot mix, and then dried cranberries. The best recipe I've used to a tee - AMAZING, AWESOME, #DELICIOUS beyond satisfying and filling as all get out with a few all organic turkey sausages- kept us full for hours!! My NOW GO TOO recipe! Thank you again!! ❤️❤️❤️

WOW…This looks like the BEST Baked Oatmeal I’ve seen on the Internet…I’ll HAVE to try it!!! I LOVE cooking with maple syrup or honey instead of processed sugars. AND, your bowl is the SAME set of dishes that my mom had. She got them in the grocery store…spend so much money and get a piece free. I recently gave the set to my granddaughter and she and her family are using them now!!! I bet a little cream/milk on top would be good too. TYFS 💕🌸💕
