Hello guys, I made a compilation of all in-game American trucks and scouts vs their real-life prototypes. You'll see in this video: Chevrolet, Hummer, International Loadstar/Paystar, Scout, AM general, Freightliner, Scammel, Caterpillar, Oshkosh (Derry Longhorn), Navistar, Pacific, and other manufacturers. I hope they add more US vehicles, so many big manufacturers not represented in this game like Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack etc. But maybe they couldn't secure the licensing

As a diesel mechanic, there are a lot of small details that are absent in the game that are on every the real deal. For example, when setting or releasing the parking brake there should be a sound effect, pressure build up to disengage and a pssht for application, the 745c shouldnt have suspension damage because it has no susension and the direction should be rigid because because of hydraulic oil does not compress, air purge intervals are too short etc... btw irl Pacific trucks were made in canada

I think it’s cool that they improvised a lot of aspects on the trucks, even with licensing. It just gives it a little drop of uniqueness

I think it's a bit silly move when some companies don't want to license their trucks to the game. I mean if it's Oshkosh we know it's Oshkosh, but you have to call if differently, when you have Ford or Chevy with their names on it standing next to it. Unfortunately all Russian companies did it.

A lot of the trucks have a longer wheelbase in game than in real life. I wonder why they did that.
