I'm surprise that Asean has been able to invite these three powers to the meeting. It really allevate Asean's ability to promote diplomacy in major world issues.

I think this is important. Defusing the situation between China and the US, and by extension the west and Europe. If we are gonna push russia out of Ukraine it is no use to alienate China, I mean "an enemy of my enemy is my friend", if both think the west is the enemy then they will work better together. But if we can isolate russia further, then the war can be put to an end quicker.
