It's crazy that in California you have so many local markets that you can sell Japanese-inspired goods that you don't even really need to go to conventions. I live in a small town in Arizona and I can't tell you how often I wish i could move to a larger city with more markets that hit my niche. Very very lucky.

I had a free place to stay but shipping things to my mom's was still a lot. I had two back to back cons (Momocon and Nashville Comicon) and my expenses were still $1331 (the Nashville event was only like $160 of that bc also free hotel, free parking). Glad you did so well!

I REALLY appreciate your consistent upload 🤗 I mean how long does it take for you to edit all of this? 😵💫 Also, Cody is 1000% correct! making YouTube videos for your art business is definitely NOT stupid. I'd go as far to say that it is the most effective form of advertisement an artist could do online!! 😆👍it's accessible, more engaging than short form content or IG pictures, and doesn't feel daunting for a lot of people to sit through unlike livestreams. So, keep doing what you're doing because I think it's great 🥰.
