Turmeric is an antiinflammatory and great for many things including skin, joints, brain, memory and muscles. Many people take it but do not get correct absorption or take the correct dose. Dr Rajani reviews the benefits of turmeric, the correct type and dose as well as the importance of also taking it with pepper and fatty oils.

  • I do turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, garlic, black pepper, lemon, cayenne pepper, EVERYDAY. They told me years ago that I had hepatitis C, high blood pressure, damaged liver and a heart that only functioned 15%. After I started my regiment, hepatitis C is gone, my heart rate is back up to normal and my high blood pressure has disappeared. Also my doctor told me that my liver looks good, just a lil fat on it. Well I'll be 70 in a minute and ride my bike everyday. Life is good finally!

I juice fresh tumeric and fresh ginger, mix the juice together, freeze it in ice cubes, and then I make a tea daily from the cubes and add in ground pepper, coconut oil and a splash of lemon juice. I have an autoimmune disease called ankylosing spondylitis which is part of the arthritis family. I do not use any anti inflammatory prescription drugs as they actually made me very ill. Thank you!

I’m of East Indian descent, and I grew up drinking turmeric teas and eating hot curries, turmeric, spicy ginger foods. My doctor told me to stop or slow down eating turmeric and curries because it’s highly acidic and causing my Osteoarthritis to flare up, well, I can not live without my curries/turmeric so I change doctor.

I have been suffering from knee joint pain for about 4 years, I refuse to take prescription meds, so I've been dealing with the pain. One day I was looking at my mason jar of turmeric and decided to add 2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp blk pepper with my morning full fat raw milk kefir (homemade) smoothie and within 2 days my pain was gone 50%, 1 whole week into drinking it, and I am 100% pain free. I am so excited and happy I can retake the quality of my life back again. The knee pain was so intense at times that I could not get out of bed for days. Thank God for turmeric!!!!

I'm a caregiver for my mom with Lung cancer. Many of us with cancer are doing off label and supplement drugs. We know our doctors don't know because they've not studied drugs that don't make any money for big pharma. We've on Curcumin and Tumeric and many other supplements. I'm in touch with an army of cancer patients from all over the world. We are trying everything and learning from each other. My point is " we have nothing to lose'. In all cases we are stage 4 cancer patients. We've given months to live and trying to survive. Some of us are NED and some are not but each cancer is different and our bodies react different to drugs. Please pray for this community of cancer patients. We are here snd forgotten by a world that doesn't see us. We're suffering while big pharma won't do any studies on drugs that we're seeing benefit from.
  • We started taking tumeric juice at home and we have seen a lot of benefits. Some are weight loss, black spots on face are fading, leg numbness are gone, arthiritis pain are less, and mom' s grey hair are growing black (amazing). We have notice so much energy. We gave some to military friends and they are overwhelmed with the increase in energy and strength during military fitness test(passed with little to no effort 😊). We mix tumeric juice with black pepper, Ginger, garlic, fennel, cinnamom, paprika and honey, lemmongrass and apple cider vinegar. Its amazing.

Dr Rajani: I have been using Turmeric for arthritis, and most off it is gone. I noticed that my skin also has improved some. I have told friends about it and how good it is for Arthritis and most people just don’t listen. It is good that you as a doctor are explaining these things because they may listen to you when they won’t to me. Funny how people are!!!

When I was married to my Iranian husband, we ate turmeric every day in the stews we made. I loved it and have always had great skin (even now at 76). People think I'm a lot younger than I am. Also, when I was in Iran, I never saw fat people. The diet is all natural and one pound of beef or lamb will feed 8 people. The rest of the meal is some rice and green vegetables.

I can’t tell you how much you have helped me! Thank you for your caring heart. I’m in my 70’s with diabetes, asthma and yeast infections on my eyes and skin. When I was diagnosed with diabetes my young doctor told me to go home and enjoy my life. He is really over worked. My much younger sister in law, was given info on diabetes, medication and is checked often. I get a “wellness” check once a year. If it wasn’t for you and Dr Berg on YouTube, I would not know what to do. God bless you.
  • @ritat1
This caught my interest, as I use turmeric in almost everything I cook (I even add it to my coffee grounds). I started adding black pepper after learning they should be used together. I am 74 and take no medications, but as a vegan, I take a B12 supplement. Also D3. I try to walk 3 to 4 miles a few times per week at least. I'm pretty healthy - maybe turmeric has something to do with that! Great channel - I'm subscribing .
  • I take 2 inches of fresh turmeric, a thumb size piece of ginger, a few good size chunks of pineapple, a tsp of coconut oil or mct oil, add a few peppercorns, add water , blend everything in a small blender... It’s the most powerful little drink that I actually notice a huge difference that helps eradicate inflammation in the body! Try it! You will love it, it’s delicious too 😋
  • @MagdaM771
My friend who is a natural healing practitioner advised me to prepare this: 7 table spoons of tumeric, 1 table spoon of ginger and 1 table spoon of black pepper plus coconut oil. You mix it all together and take 1 tea spoon per day preferably in the morning. It prevents cancer and has a lot of benefits as presented in the video😁👍
  • @nilag2123

I have always loathed the taste of turmeric but can't ignore the health benefits. My foolproof way to take it is to mix a teaspoon of it with black pepper into a soft boiled or poached egg. After having it everyday for breakfast for a week I feel amazing and have lost a little weight. And now like the taste. Definitely worth trying!!
