Hey all! Today I'm sharing with you guys a big part of my life, my testimony! As much as I love sharing hair and beauty tips on here, I wanted to open up this part of my life to you guys too. If you'd like to hear more of my life's bits and pieces, or see more personal videos, give this video a thumbs up (and/or leave suggestions down below!!)! McKenna I just stumbled upon your channel yesterday and I have just truly enjoyed coffee and talks with Jesus and this testimony, I've been going through the hardest time of my life and I really relate to this video. I grew up a Christian but I wasn't living like a Christian for most of my life and I felt so far away from God and I'm just getting out of a four-year relationship that was unhealthy and toxic and not pleasing to the Lord and I lived with guilt for so many years , I feel like I'm just getting out of that lifestyle and wanting to be so close to the Lord, so thank you so much for sharing and I can't wait to continue watching your videos. They have been so encouraging to me.

Makenna, I'm having the EXACT same experience! I'm currently doing six months of singleness, surrendering my heart fully to the Lord. He is working mightily and this video is just so encouraging. I had boyfriend who loves Jesus with his whole heart but we felt like we needed to fully give ourselves to the Lord before we were able to properly love one another. God is day by day revealing His blessings and mercies on me. So sweet!

Yes, the definition of fasting is not just giving up food. It's giving up something important to us for something better. I do, however, encourage Christians to abstain from food on a periodic basis for at least 24 hours and attach your intentions to your fast. It's one of the most powerful spiritual exercises you can do, and there are many health benefits to fasting. You will be surprised how much stronger you feel inside coming off of a 24 hour fast. I totally understand what you mean about getting used to morning texts and that romantic companionship. Im currently detaching myself from a soul tie. I'm so glad to see how God has rescued you. My break through is on it's way

Thank you for sharing your testimony, Makeena. I've struggled with totally surrendering my life to God. I'm glad that you were able to do that, and I pray that you will continue to experience/grow in your love for Him.
