A short term blessing, but long term curse, the Microsoft acquisition of Activision/Blizzard comes as a bittersweet tickle/flick to the nuts. As not just the gaming space, but the entire tech sector continues to consolidate ad infinitum, I'd be remiss to say this is an all-around good thing.
However, my $12 G2A acquisition of an already bulk-purchased Overwatch key doesn't keep me up at night; nor does even the thought of Bobby Kotick, the creep, using my $12 to buy himself a couple giant jars of peanut butter to smear all over his sickly form, focusing specifically on his optical crevices, to obscure his sight while his corporate underlings get to some unsavory behavior.
But, at least we can take some comfort in knowing that once that humongous severance check clears, the bastard will be gone and the IP will be in the hands of that oh-so benign titan of industry, "good guy", Microsoft...better than nothing, I guess.
So, back to the Sigma grindset we go!
