I witnessed the power of Rihanna and how she ruled the music industry. She's one of the main pillars. She's such a queen! I remember how I learned many english words thanks to her songs. She had so many hits. That's why she will forever be engraved in my memory as a music icon. Some of the biggest hits that I really loved back then and all of my friends at school and people in the streets also loved : - Unfaithful - Disturbia - Te Amo (I don't understand how this iconic song didn't chart in the US? good thing it was a huge hit outside the tasteless US) - Rude Boy - Umbrella - Don't Stop The Music - Rehab - Man Down - Take A Bow - S&M - Love The Way You Lie - SOS - Break It Off - Only Girl in the World - What's my Name - California King Bed - Where Have You Been - Diamonds - Stay - The Monster - Can't Remember to Forget You - What Now - We found Love - Pon de Replay etc .... And even after I grew up and was in my 2 last years of high school + university when I finally knew what streaming was, the meaning of being a fan and how the music industry works, she still dropped hits like : - Work - Bitch Better Have My Money - Love on the Brain - Wild Thoughts - What You Came for - Lift Me Up etc. The number of hits Rihanna had and continues to have is insane! I'm just a casual listener of her but she has my utmost respect.
