Morgan Freeman being god is the most believable part of this movie.
-
I love how Morgan Freeman manages to portray the sternness and intimidating aspect as well as the kind and fatherly typically found in God.
-
'so you're the boss, and the electrician and the janitor?' wow, that's an interesting holy trinity!
-
“The elevator’s broken.” So Bruce takes the stairs. Elevator to Hell is broken. Stairway to Heaven is fully functional though. Bruce takes the stairs and meets God.
-
Just realized that it’s the Stairway to seven
-
“I’m not much for blaspheming, but that last one made me laugh.” Great delivery from Morgan Freeman on that line
-
Honestly I miss seeing Jim Carrey in these comedic movie roles. This was a great film.
-
4:07 When you haven't checked the group chat in an hour.
-
"People underestimate the benefit of good old manual labor. There's freedom in it." He sure is right about that.
-
I'm afraid to look in my file cabinet.
-
One of the greatest moments in this movie, one that actually helped me on my own spiritual journey, was Morgan Freeman's answer of 'yes' to Jim's question of 'can i ask 'why?' . I grew up Southern Baptist, and we were always told never to question God when bad things happened.

The Riddler gets advice from Batman's techie guy Lucius Fox.
-
“...how’d you get my pager number?” GOOD GOD I FORGOT HOW OLD THIS IS 😂😂😂
-
Its so satisfying to hear Morgan Freeman say "I am God"
-
4:04 I like how he just casually backs up, knowing what’s gonna happen.
-
4:56 "I'm the one..." "Mr. Anderson, welcome back. We missed you"
-
This clip shows him as father son and holy spirit. The son cleaning up downstairs(Earth), holy spirit trying to fix the light(faith) and father, running it
-
"simte me, oh mighty smiter" is now my go-to phrase when i'm annoyed at life. Replacing "Oh, for God's sake!" All thanks to this movie.
-
Much as I love this movie. It has a sinister and deterministic aspect to the story that god can still know when it’ll all come crashing down for Bruce.
-
"I am the One. " Thank you. Now I've got that song in my head.
