The Lorkboard grows stronger. Tales from the Pizzaplex is a polarizing FNAF book series. I feel like more than any other FNAF books, people are really split on if these stories take place in the FNAF game timeline or not. However, regardless of which side of the debate you're on, there's still useful lore in these books. So let's Count The Ways.

First Fredbear drowning in a red lake and now Glam Freddy is drowning in a lake of books I see what you’re doing Rye 🧐
  • @MavisXe
Just a quick mention, Alone Together is also very clearly shown in the movie too as the children possessing the animatronics are unknowingly following Afton’s orders thinking he’s their friend until Abbie draws the truth, the memories flooding back into the spirits and then remember Afton as the enemy. Similar to the mini game. So that story is DEFINITELY solidified in the games as a face value event.

Somebody help Freddy. He doesn't look like he enjoys those books.

B7/B7-2 is crazy - How did the prosthetics removed from Billy turn into a whole endoskeleton basically?? He stood there and watched his grandmother perish horribly and was just like "Aw, man! That stinks! Well, on with my life!" not at all traumatized.
  • 9:20 Even the cat is disappointed by the sheer mention of illusion disks, this is all the proof I need that they are officially removed from cannon and replaced by nightmare gas.
  • I wish that, when Scott Is Done Fully with Fnaf. The Last Thing he Makes is This Long Documentary about What Actually Happened. About The Books, All of it.
  • i can't wait to see the Video where Rye explains that In The Flesh! is important to the lore!

I have a pretty weird theory but what if the Fnaf Security Breech is an in universe game (similar to Help Wanted), this would make more since if the Tales From the Pizza Plex books take place in the "Real World" of Fazbear Ent. I say this because of the marketing of Security Breech, Security breech had 2 or 3 ads that had one of the main crew promoting the game; what makes it weird is its marketed like an add you would see in a gift shop, in addition they also marketed places from the game such as Mazercise and Monty's Gator Golf, this might mean that the Pizza Plex we see in Security Breech was based or took inspiration from a "Real" Pizza Plex.

all of this would be simple if scott already said one thing: they are or not in game continuity

I think Greg killed his family not knowing it, kinda like Fran bow but instead of being pure insane it's glitchtrap.
  • @GendoRokabundi
I guess the Monty Within is part of the Mimic related stories, because it is a big ‘rules of the universe’ story in terms of explaining how humans end up under Glitchtrap’s “control”. I’m glad you brought up the B-72 thing, because I think the Brazil ending might actually be showing GGY and Vanny chilling out in the digital realm, since both have been removed from their human hosts. So perhaps Helpi is getting Cassie prepared to ‘receive’ Vanny. That Help Wanted 2 is showing us the set up of getting Vanny into the mask, and then getting the mask Cassie. Vanny perhaps hijacking Glitchtrap’s attempt to get a host to get one for herself.

15:34 hmmm... Almost like if a man striken by grief could create a consciousness out of his own, and place it within a robot made on the image of the very thing he's trying to replicate... That's a very new concept, isn't it? FNAF likes to play with its prestablished rules over and over, in different situations, to expand on them. When Henry talks about agony as the most relevant emotion when faced with tragedy, Frights expands on it through a whole 12 books, explaining it more in depth (And that's just ignoring that TFC directly calls out that Henry poured his agony into the Charliebots, explicitly using that word). When someone gets trapped in a VR experience, it is the perfect scenario to see Quantum Immortality, all we do is getting another example of something we've already seen before. And not in Help Wanted, but all the way back to FNAF 4. Fazbear Frights, the movie, FNAF 4, FNAF World, those are all examples of a person's consciousness retract, or seathe, into a different state of reality and perception. They are not all the same, but they are all the same concept, consciousness never dies, and it can experiment different states of reality. Either it be a memory, a dream, or a videogame, as long as it is an "experienceable" reality (I mean, VR has literally "reality" in its name, it is literally a reality you can experience), the human mind might be able to access it, specially after death. I would also like to point out that Help Wanted seems to not be about fear gas, but rather about illusion disks. If it was gas, then it would be described more as a "sushing" sound, calming, and the result would be strictly fear. But it is actually described as a high-pitched sound that hurts Steve's ears, makes him pass out, and creates both positive and negative hallucinations, not only fearful ones. As much as i like that interpretation, i think it works better as illusion disks. I love your vids Rye! <3

8:15 One thing to note is that in the game continuity, the Indie Dev is still around, as Faz Ent have a lawsuit pending, and you can't really sue a dead guy as far as I know. Plus, the book version has him die midway through making FNaF 4, while the game has direct screenshots of Sister Location and references to Pizza Sim via the Scrap Plushbaby. 16:40 Me when RyeToast summarizes Alone Together again.
  • @ItsSuperMoosh
Ive said it before... If Steelwool is going back in time to the days of the carnival faire that started it all, then it needs to be a reboot. Clean up the lore. Leave things as a mystery, sure. But clean it up.
  • @Einsteinmusic
1:39 not fnaf related but I’ve seen the Mario movie at least 5 times and never noticed the hole in the wall is the original 8-bit design of Mario’s head.
  • @jjslide1
Rye you should react or make a theory review to Dual Process' "We Actually Solved Fnaf"
  • @jessejro7408
Watching your videos always makes me want to go back and play Sonic Adventure 2. That sound track, specifically the knuckles levels, was fantastic.
  • @Ozdical
8:02 interesting artistic decision with making the text cover you lol

Fazbear finding a way to profit off the multiple child murders at their old restaurant is crazy
