If you turn on closed captions while watching the show. When Bud Askins talks while being a brain in a jar. The captions name him "Brain-on-a-Roomba".

I like how, while everyone's designing the "perfect human conditions" for their vault experiments, Mr. House shrugs it off and bets on the surface dwellers as a force to be reckoned with

I fucking love the Vault-Tec story they did for their first season. It's easily the best part. How they explain the cartoon taking over his face, how the clothing was made to mirror his outfit.. damn. So many cool, small details.
  • I loved Norm by the end. He's in a 1970's Conspiracy Thriller. Let's not forget he has done so many different jobs in the Vault. He probably has the most knowledge on how to run the place - a Jack of all traits. He's getting out.
  • I’d actually argue Vault Tec didn’t drop the first bomb and was rather caught completely off guard by either China or US dropping theirs first. Think about it, there’s no ways that at that meeting that they didn’t discuss “the big day” where they would orchestrate the apocalypse. Yet so many Companies and personnel acted completely surprised and underprepared in the Games when it happened. Howard genuinely looks shocked when he sees the first Bomb, Mr Hoise had his Platinum Chip delivered one day too late and Just BARELY deactivated or destroyed all nearby warheads, Sinclair wasn’t inside his personal Vault in the Sierra Madre… there is way too much evidence that although Vault Tec wanted to be the ones to cause the big boom (the Vault Tec Rep in FO4 certainly acts like it’s soon approaching) but it actually happened way sooner then they planned, causing a mad scramble to get dwellers into the Vaults and save their skin. There is NO WAYS Howard’s Wife would have her daughter outside a Vault on a Hill on the big day Vault Tec prepared!! I bet this will be revealed Season 2, they wanted to cause it, but it was caused by another force, far sooner then they wanted.

Cooper Howard is a really cool character. It feels like he’s a mix of John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart. I also like how he’s the origin of the Vault Tech mascot 😁👍🏼. In my opinion, the best parts of the show are the pre-war flashbacks. Cooper discovering Vault Techs true intentions is a legendary scene. Awesome video Ox!

I never played the games, but that “dropping the bombs ourselves” line was a jaw dropper

The haunting part is that he was dismissive about he could buy a vault slot... and she got passionate to emphasize the fact she had a good vault... implying bad vaults. Wow... that is a powerful piece of foreshadowing.

the look betty gives when she's telling him that she and his father had buried his mother haunts me, betty gave an incredible performance

Vault 76’s overseer was supposed to find what remains of Appalachia nuclear arsenal to claim it for Vault-Tech. That’s how they got their hands on nuclear weapons post war

It’s so surreal seeing a show adaptation that gets almost everything about the game lore correct AND builds onto it and introducing more puzzle pieces making it an integral part of the series. Not something you see often.

When my son was younger, he started playing Fallout. I loved watching him play, and we would watch your videos together. He passed away in September 2023, and I know for a fact he would have loved the new series on Prine. Watching for him and I am glad I found your channel again. ☺️

"It'll keep the rads and the reds out" is the best line.

I think Ox might be a bit off in thinking Vault tech and the other CEOs were "doing what's right" in that meeting. Bud, did. He presented what he thought was an honest opportunity. But Barb opened it up to full control, full monopoly, free experiments, and even dropping the bombs. And every CEO knew it was messed up and everyone loved it. Watching the show, I didn't perceive any board member thinking "this is the right thing to do" like Ox says. They knew how messed up it was, they all saw green, and they loved it.
  • I love how plot-wise this show ran with the arc words of New Vegas ("the game's rigged from the start", "Begin again..." by wiping the slate clean) yet thematically Vault-Tec responds the exact opposite of what Ulysses would have wanted in the wasteland (micromanagement to absolute free rein)
  • My wife's theory for Muldaver is she's a Synth given the memories of her past self like Nick Valentine. It makes sense that the Institute would welcome the creator of "clean energy" and would have brought her back as a Synth to try and solve their energy issues during Fallout 4. But the Railroad got to her first and helped her escape.

Now that i have finished the series, I'm beginning to wonder if Cooper's wife approached him from the beginning and married him to get his star power. She's WAY more conniving that I would have given her credit for until she suggested dropping the bombs.

there are way more cryo pods in vault 31 than there are visible names on the terminal screen, so we’re definitely not seeing a full list of “dormant” names. doesn’t mean barb is there, but she still could be even if her name’s not visible on the slice norm sees.
  • I love how Oxhorn have not changed in 7 years. He sticks with his content and i like that.
  • “I have worked hard to make sure we go into a special Vault for Management” Vault 0 confirmed as canon again
