For all of you saying she shouldn't have written the book: it's HER story too and she has the right to tell it.

You can tell she never recovered from the death of the baby and relationship. She loved him ... she needed to write her book and grieve.

I think it's sad when couples separate due to the death of a child or children because that's when they need each other the most.

I love Prince, however, his control caused Mayte to suppress her feelings. She has a right to share her story!!! Period!

I love that her love for animals is what stopped her from hurting herself. She knew that a little life (even a furry little one) still loved and needed her.

I was a teenager when Prince came out, I'll never forget his music and his style. Great singer great mind, so sorry he's gone.

She's a lovely, genuine, nice woman. I'm glad she has a daughter. I'm glad she is getting her story out there. Just hearing her speak, I really like her.

Honestly, I love his music. But he had some weird/bad sides to him. Fine. That deserves to be heard as well. There's no reason to turn a blind eye to that, just because you're a fan.
