Today is Autism Awareness Day!
I made a new years resolution this year to write more songs, and within the first 2 weeks I had written 4 (No idea where they came from lol)!!
This Is Me was the first of the 4, and It's a song about my life with Autism and mental health - not the whole story, just a glimpse, as the whole story would need a whole film 😂
It's coming out on MY BIRTHDAY on April the 9th, and I had the privilege of having my 2 friends Emma and Lynne be in it, as well as help me film it too!
I thought that since I've let you into my life through my song, I would share a bit about Emma and Lynne's lives with Autism and a bit about the stigma/assumptions there are about Autism!
I originally planned to upload this video after my song came out, until I realised it was Autism Awareness Day today, which changed my plans - hence why you hear me talking about my song in the video!

Holly this is inspirational and my daughter needs to talk to you 4 sure. At 19 we’re still trying to get a diagnosis.
