Neteyam will forever be the purest baby, the greatest brother. :'(

He was the perfect brother, the perfect soldier, and the perfect son. But i don't think Loak realized that even Neteyam was struggling to live up to perfection and responsibility. Its almost like he was forced to grow up quicker, and during his death he was bought back to his childlike nature normal for his age when he said "I want to go home". In the end, Eywa guided him back there.
  • Neteyam didn't even know he was dead in the end. All he know is he's back home doing things he loved like fishing. Seems that Eywa spared him the sorrow of the truth that he's already gone so that he could live in peace in the afterlife.

Neteyam got so little screentime and still every little frame he conveyed he was willing to protect and be there for his family every time. He was willing to sacrifice himself so others could live. If you watch the movie again and focus on Neteyam's character, you will discover that he is an underrated hero in the story. Every time he is shown, he does everything he can to protect others and stand up for them as well. True hero.

What's even more sad is that Neteyam was 15 years old at the time of his death.

When Lo'ak started to cry in the water is when I lost it because that's when it truly became real for him that his brother is really gone. For us, the death of a loved one doesn't truly hit until the burial at the cemetery. Damn there I go again with the onions man.

The best brother, the best son. He deserved so much better!
  • @pragy17
HOW COULD THEY??! Like I was ready for literally anyone's death but neteyam!!! He was such a responsible brother and son😭
  • I miss him... Maybe it's too much, but as an "old" fan, I can say that Jake's family feels like my family.

Neteyam 100% didn't deserve to die😭 I love your edits!!
  • @raindrops2892
Wow, this edit was a beautiful tribute to Nateyam. He truly deserves this. Ma Jake, your elder son may not be adventurous as your younger one, but he was purely brave and unconditionally protective of his family. I hope you are proud of him.
  • if you think about it neteyam was there to save everyone but who was there to save him? he's saved lo'ak, neytiri, kiri, tuk, even tsireya. he was really taken for granted. it's always the kindest hearts that pass. i hope to see him again in the next movies.. if james can bring grace back why not neteyam?
  • R.I.P Neteyam, you will always be remembered in our minds, and in our hearts, you were so young and brave, and such a good older brother to your siblings, we could tell that you loved your family no matter what happened, going after Lo’ak was scary, but you went after him to save him anyway, that’s what we love about you, Ewya is keeping you safe from harm now, we love you mighty warrior 🖤🤍🕊️
  • neteyum was the most obedient and caring firstborn every parents want....
  • Such a wonderful video and tribute to Neteyam! I was crying so much when he died, he did so much for everyone and it was never considered enough💙
