  • Low Country Harley-Davidson.. Awesome story Doc. After working there for 35 years they should give you a new bike of your choice.
  • @MrJosephfunk
Fun seeing people who know how to work on these different generations of HarleyDavidson. I've got a Panhead, a shovelhead and a evo and each one is awesome in it's own regard.
  • I with some friends did take a tour of the HD plant and museum in Milwaukee in 1995. Before we made that trip on the bikes, our Hog Chapter, Columbia Hog Chapter had our last fundraiser. Our guest at that party was the one and only Robert D. Raiford and Bill Davidson, Willie G's son. The club dinner was on a Friday evening and the next day as road Captain, I escorted them around our poker run stops. That Saturday evening, we had dinner at a German restaurant in Irmo SC with Bill. What memories. We raised over $10,000 that day for Diabetes which Bill has and so do I. When we got to Milwaukee, Bill took us on a personal tour through the engine plant. Wonderful days back then.

Thanks for your dedication to an American icon. I only hope the current powers that be at HD don't foul it up.
  • Much respect for you Doc. 35 years is a great accomplishment at one job. Always wishing you the best. As always, thank you for passing on some of your tips and knowledge of Harleys to all of us.
  • @eddie8279
Doc you are such a blessing to us! It's only right that you get to share the span of your career with us. Thanks for ALL you do!!!
  • @dtork47
Thanks for the great ride down memory lane Doc! Being a 75 year young rider I appreciate all those “evolutions”!
  • I never leave comments in YouTube, since the 1st year it began, but THANK YOU DOC for sharing your knowledge Bless YOU
  • Doc, I am 71 years old now and I too have had some really nice bikes over the years. Starting out with a 1974 Shovelhead, kick only. Moved up to a 1980 Shovelhead, to a 1994 Heritage, to the 2010 Twin Cam Heritage stage ll and now a 2021Tri Glide Ultra. I wish I had all of them back right now. Like losing part of the family every time you move up.
  • It’s good to see all those older bikes , in my opinion Doc. The evo was the best engine Harley ever made . Love watching your videos Doc. You are a wealth of information and I really appreciate what you do for everyone ………
  • I believe that is the attraction of Harley-Davidson’s for me, the history and longevity of the brand. I used to have some photos of me sitting with my grandpa’s Hydra-Glide when I was 3, and I’ve been a fan of Harleys ever since. I am truly blessed that I have 2 downstairs in the garage, a 100 year anniversary FatBoy, and a 2015 Ultra Limited! One of these days I’ll make it up your way for a visit. I spent a lot of time in Charleston when the Border Patrol Academy was there and have always wanted to go back. Hope to see you soon!
  • Great story. And so great to see you guys work on all the old bikes Not very many dealers do.
  • Congrats on making 35 years in your profession. I retired 5 years ago after 40 years as a milwright for a major corporation. Always enjoy your content Sir.
  • great sharing. 35 years great! If you ever retire from the working aspect of motorcycles please get them to keep you on as an ambassador of Good will for HD and videos.
  • @PanM8
Thanks for the line up. That 65 Electra Glide is partial to me. I've owned mine for the last 25 years. Mine is black and birch white.
  • @FrKuzma
Glad you’re willing to work on the older stuff Doc, most HD dealerships will not work on anything older than 20 years. Ask me how I know.
