I remember this is the only laker game I went to in LA. My father picked me up when he scored that shot. I still get chills, I can remember the atmosphere. It was an eruption of emotion and celebration. Its a shame we lost that series, but shows what determination and not giving up can accomplish. RIP Kobe and RIP to my father Eduardo Navarro

kobe averaged 35pts the entire season that year and scored that legendary 81pt game.. and led a team with kwame brown/smush parker to the playoffs... it's unbelievable that he didn't win MVP that year
