I am from a single village that still gets electricity from renala khurd hydroelectric power plant designed and layed the foundation by sir Ganga Ram. In past when whole Pakistan face electric crises, we were only a single village to not face a single second electricity shortfall, courtesy sir ganga ram's hydroelectric power plant. Our village also have the Havelli of sir ganga ram that he used for his rest. Truelly a Legend❤.

In Delhi we have a huge hospital which was established in his honour by the name of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi. This hospital has saved my life and my father's life.

Cities of Sindh, notably Karachi, Hyderabad and Shikarpur were educationally, economically and socially modernized by Parsis and Hindus during 19th and 20th century. Muslims later only benefited from these cities while continuing to destroy them without making any noticeable addition.

Iam from Delhi India. My mother in law very fondly remembered her lahore days and very proudly used to tell me that she studied in the most modern ,updated and if it is ok to say fashionable Lahore college for women....and the girls from the cream of society took admission in this college...the years probably were the late 30s or early 40s .her father was a well known Doctor of that time.....and then partition happened.😢😢

I have been living in model town for past 14 years but I never knew this that the map and architecture of model town was made by sir Gangaram... I studied bachelor in music from NCA I never knew that the architecture of NCA was also made by sir Gangaram. BRAVO Muzammil for this video. Much love. ❤️❤️❤️

There was no Pakistan back then and Gangaram was Indian. Pakistan wanted to erase the fact that millions of Hindus once lived in Lahore, Karachi etc. Pak history doesn't mention him cuz he was a Hindu.

Sir Gangaram was an alum of my college, IIT Roorkee (then Roorkee College of Engineering). I graduated from there in 2015. There still is a sprawling hostel named after him, called Ganga Bhawan. Everyone who has graduated from Roorkee knows about Gangaram, and takes high pride in that.
