Apologies on the frame rate issue, apparently OBS enjoyed too much rakija and wasn't having it... It will be sorted next time.

Every good railroader should know, you always pack a watch, hat, beverage of choice, and trusty Kalashnikov
  • @Johndoe-jd
Comrade Hyce, This shift would have cost you 5,180 Rubles. This cost it for fixing up the bullet holes, explosion, and body disposal. Thankfully comrade Ivan has kindly paid it off for you. Glory to the Motherland YouTube, Comrade John Doe

    1. Accent is funny 2. A series on this game would be fun
  • Accents is a bit much but very fun if this dose becomes a series, maybe dial it back a bit

16:50 Obviously developers attempted to gamify russian air brake valve, which in real life is non-selflapping valve with overcharge. The real valve has seven notches: I - Release & overcharge, II - Running, III - Lap, which is a literal lap, as it doesn't actively maintain brake pipe pressure, IV - Hold, which maintains BP pressure and is closer to what is commonly called "lap", Va - Slow application (to apply brakes more evenly in longer trains), V - Service application, VI - Emergency.

This ought to be the biggest middle finger to the algorithm there ever was, and I'm here for it. Hyce/Life of Boris crossover when?
  • the pantograph wire zigzags to reduce wear on the pantograph reciever thing if you didn't know its just so you don't wear a groove in the graphite
  • @TSMGL_Youtube
11:10 The wire being that close to the edge of the pantograph's carbon works but is less than ideal, esspecially when it's on a long carbody... we have a similar issue out here at the Trolley Museum with our wire not being centered for our pantograph car, which we are working to fix... Love the accent, can't wait to see the tomfoolery that happens in this game!
  • Please make a series of this, this game along with Railroader and Century of Steam are on my bucket list
  • @Knsgf
13:30 "BV1" is the main circuit breaker (MCB). "KVC" is auxiliaries master switch; these include compressors, traction motor blowers, exciters for dynamic braking and cab heaters. One can see another thing the game got incorrect: heaters and compressors should not turn on without "KVC".
  • Having previously lived in Siberia from 2010-2012 I can confirm Siberia be crazy. The whistles on Russian locomotives are also crazy - they don't sound like you'd expect from a modern horn. More than once I'd be on a night train during a station stop and hear what I thought was a steam locomotive whistle, rush over to my window out of curiosity, and be disappointed that it was a diesel or electric locomotive passing by. Each locomotive here is a real Russian locomotive, the type you're driving being a very common freight locomotive that I saw all the time. Russians are also very graceful on their feet - even if they're so drunk their eyes have turned yellow because their livers can't keep up with the sheer amount of alcohol in their system. I don't know how to say "Highball" in Russian, but more than likely you could say something like "давай поехали" (davaii poyekhali) which is similar to "Let's go!" specifically for use with traveling in a vehicle.

18:50 On a real loco, the reverser has 3 extra notches in both directions in addition to "M" (power) - "P", "SP" and "S". These select how motos are connected during dynamic braking (in parallel, mixed or in series).
  • @mr.sir.
Booze? Trains? Guns? What more could go wrong!?
  • @lifeisfakenews
I see the alcohol and hangover bar and the top and i know this doesnt end well
  • If I can’t shoot civilians and fight wolves in Century of Steam, I’m returning the game 🤣
  • @BiggsHobbies
Love these videos and I would absolutely watch the heck out of a full series, and honestly, the accent makes these videos even more awesome. I think it's contagious though; I'm now reading comments in Russian accents. The pure chaos of adding weapons and the mafia to a train sim... It's just pure chaos, and I am all here for it. Also, just casually saying "Oh no" while being chased by, like, half a dozen angry Russians is an accurate response.
  • You should totally do a play through of this! Between this, Derail Valley, and Railroader, the rail insanity trifecta would be complete! The accent is hilarious, mostly when you’re switching between accents often!
