You're southern! When people say things that are rude, just give them a little, "well, bless your heart." 🤭

Love the haircut! Love the positive attitude also. I'm glad you can joke about some of the comments that are made. What's important is the message you share. It's just raw, and you, and honest. I think a lot of us can connect with that.

Omg someone commented on your teeth? People are ridiculous! Great video! I’m not to goal yet but besides Covid I had the MOST stressful Fall/winter in 2019-2020 and planned maintenance so I didn’t regain, then Covid hit and it’s been...um...stressful! so I’ve really only lost 5 lbs over the last year but I started the fitness part and have done some body recomp over this past year and so many people this past year keep asking me how I’m losing more weight and when I tell them I’m not much really, I’m strength training they are floored. Ideally I’d like to lose another 40lbs and continue to strength train so I am more muscular as I lose. It might mean I am still technically overweight according to BMI but I’m ok with that if my fitness is good and I’m WAY better of than I was at 285lbs. I follow Heather at Half Size me (podcast and YouTube and health coach who lost 170 lbs 8 years ago) and she has helped me change my thinking around counting calories and my overall approach, a ton.
  • I relate to how you feel about intuitive eating 100 percent!!! Even when I'm not hungry I think "oh let's go get a snack" which is fine, but not when that's happening all of the time. So if I was intuitive eating, I would be overeating on the daily just because I love food.

Hi Nicole. Love your journey. I'm a doctor myself, but I've been struggling with losing weight. I just don't feel motivated and keep giving in to bad food. You are a great inspiration.

Thank you for your channel! I’m mid forties and it is so inspiring to see you succeed at something I’ve just begun. I don’t know anyone IRL who’s on a journey like this, and it’s really nice to have someone I can relate to. Thank you for putting yourself out there.
  • Obese to beast sped you up so I slowed down his whole video 😂 I like the way you speak and I definitely like what you have to say! 🙂 I'm glad I've found your channel.

Liking the vid just for that “not my day” part in regards to questions about her seeing the light. I hollered 🤣🤣🤣

I'm really looking forward to the video about body dysmorphia. After loosing about 15kg, I just don't see it most of the time even though everyone else does and my clothes are two sizes smaller...

I gained weight due to my illness and I'm really excited to see your content involving easy steps to gradually improve diet and ways to get more active during the pandemic.

Body dysmorphia is real. I have lost and gained a lot of weight multiple times in my life and to either way it seems like my mind catches up so much later... I'm now on a journey to healing and understanding my relationship with food. It's definitely more mental than physical. And counting calories have helped me a lot in that understanding.
