Does anyone else think it's just wrong that only a couple of counties in one state can effect a national election?
  • @HairHoFla
The same story of the last 20 plus years...urban and suburban vs. rural
  • HERE IN EUROPE we hold an election in one month from start to finish, it €50 million total and the person with the most votes WINS...!!!
  • It's bs that someone in Pennsylvania or Georgia will determine what happens here in Oregon and California. It should not be this way.
  • @amphimixis
It's so frustrating how we don't elect a president based on the popular vote, and the fact that two counties in Georgia and PA could swing the election instead of the populace swinging the election is what disenfranchises many voters.
  • @Pilts82
Kamala should do well in GA but worried about her reach and connection with folks from Erie Co. that Biden had. It'll be crucial that Kamala picks a VP that resonates with PA and small town families as well as suburbs

I was raised in Gwinnett and lived there most of my life. It was always very red until they built some colleges in the rural areas of the county. The growth and higher education made us blue and I'm so proud to from Gwinnett with these changes.
  • Pennsylvania is Electoral College voting The People Don’t Vote…
  • @AlphaWolfHowl
One person, one vote. Abolish the electoral college!
  • you see the girl that shoot her dog and bragged about it in a book and you might think that the MAGA party is weird. They Vance says : hold my beer.
  • @juju-xx5xn
Way too much importance is being placed on Erie County, PA. I live in PA. The pollsters and political analysts were wrong in 2016 and 2020. Your title is click bait.
  • @porchland
Both campaigns are advertising heavily on GA local TV. Sounds like good news to me.
  • @blackcat4859
So the votes in a State aren't counted equally either?
  • @dyronius
Ok but how about voter turnout in other parts of these Swing States? Such a small difference in the overall popular vote of a State could also cause a butterfly effect.
  • The electoral college is outdated. We need to improve the system to better represent all Americans, not just those in a few states and counties
  • As someone from Gwinnett, it’s weird seeing us again on national spotlight. Yikes.
  • This tells you how important Pennsylvania is to kamala Harris, and to Democrats. All roads lead to, Josh shapiro as her VP running mate.
