You could also get a $5 plate at Crate & Barrell or a 4x4 or 6x6 tile at Home Depot for 13 cents

I can't understand why it is that this very invaluable video has not been swamped with thumbs up clicks; these paint palettes are beautiful, and one can't choose between them, they are ALL so pretty, and useful! Love them all. You are so very clever and practical. I have to say that your voice is so very calming, relaxing, and soothing that I could listen to it for hours. Thank you for this video, RRB, it is definitely gonna be saved in my valuable videos folder.

Lovely video! Just to be safe I'm mentioning (didn't notice if it was said in this clip) that UV resin is not food-safe and should never be used to hold anything edible. And yes, use a mask with proper ventilation, as already advised in the video. ❤

The YouTube algorithm led me here, and I'm so glad it did! I've been looking at porcelain palettes, but they are never quite right as far as size or arrangement of the wells go and/or pretty pricey. This is a lovely DIY idea and you explain everything so well. Thank you for putting this out there! Very much appreciated. I predict it'll turn into a viral video in the art community. 😅

Ive been painting un-primed air dry clay with watercolour paints, sealing with an acrylic gloss glaze afterwards and ive had some really cool results! Highly recommend. Very fun.

Let me tell you, I thought this wouldn't work. I'm glad that I watched to the end. Gonna try it; looks gorgeous, fun, and unique. Thank you!

i think i'll have my sleeping remedy with your VOICE whilst watching your videos, which is so calm, smooth and its like a mommy reading a book to child to get them ready to sleep

So glad that I found this, I have been wanting to make my own paint palettes for some time.

Absolutely adore your little birdie paint palette! Love that you give alternatives to using resin. Appreciate your willingness to share your love of air dry clay.

I cannot thank you enough for this video! I have been wanting to create palettes for my watercolor group for years now and just didn’t know how to waterproof them. I feel like an idiot for not thinking of UV resin, 😂. ❤❤❤
  • @meridithkish2076
I love this! I really love the one with the bird! But they are all great!
  • @staceydailey6394
In so inspired! I have everything I need already, I just love this idea! Brilliant! 💡 💡 💡

Oh, how sweet! The ping-pong ball one is for perfectionists! Love it! But there's a time to embrace organic too. I do like water droplet shapes. I like the fox, the one with the white swan and the 3-wells one with the 3 botanicals painted between. They're all beautiful though. Thanks for sharing US links to the resin tool and supplies. I see that resin tool cures on both sides simultaneously. I like the results I get with DecorArt Triple Thick Brilliant Gloss Glaze but it would be fun to do this easy resin curing.

I love them all. The bird dish is my favourite, but i also like the idea of using ping pong balls . I cant wait to make one for my watercolour painting. Thankyou

I am so inspired. I cannot believe I didn’t know about this ! Thank you!
