Greetings - Your show, Thrifting Vegas, is my favorite of all the Thrifting shows. Thank you. Just felt compelled to tell you what you actually have there in those two wooden carved "wood-choppers" that slide back and forth- but are not completed yet. They are a decoration mobile that sits on the top of a windmill and are hooked up to the top of a windmill, usually on a farm, and it tells the farmer how strong the wind is by how fast they are chopping, and which direction it is blowing by the direction they are pointing. I'll be 80 in a few months, but when I was in my early teens I helped my grandfather paint these wood-choppers and set them up at his farm....it was great fun. Thanks for the memory.
