Did anyone else notice that Riley's main emotion is Joy, but her mum's is Sadness and her dad's is Anger?
  • @stockjonebills

After my little sister watched this, she was screaming and displaying all those emotions for every little thing, and when my mom asked what was wrong out of concern she'd jump around and scream "help, the colourful people are in my head controlling me!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 She got over it though once we explained to her that it isn't real.

Roles of emotions: Joy: Helps you keep living your day nicely whenever there is nothing to be afraid of, be disgusted of, be angry of, or be sad of. Sadness: Helps you get help whenever things are not going well for you. Anger: wants to make sure you are treated fairly and like everyone else, and also that anything that happens is fixed. Fear: Keeps you safe from things that can physically harm you. Disgust: Gets you away from things that are not physically or socially good for you.

I love how quick the animation is on Joy.  Poor Sadness.

I honestly think this is my all-time favorite Pixar movie. Every character is so relatable and the world is so interesting. I've seen it twice now and I already want to see it again. If anyone hasn't seen it yet I would highly advise you do. Seriously, this movie legitimately made me cry.

Who cried when the imaginary friend die----->me
  • @Dysartish
Fear: What the heck is that?! Joy: Who puts broccoli on pizza?? Anger: Congratulations San Francisco; you ruined pizza - for the Hawaiians, and now you.

How do other emotions have other emotions?
  • @jolly3257
does that mean if you just choke fear, you’ll never be scared of anything again?
  • @inzanced567
Joy took control of everything.. She thought she knew everything...
  • This is basically what happens when you bottle up all your emotions.. It seems like Joy is bottling up all the other emotions and preventing them from taking charge to keep Riley happy and Joyful all the time ignoring all her other emotions Cor this is actually very interesting ^^
  • riley is run by joy, her mother is run by sadness, and her father is run by anger. foreshadowing
