So, if you are like a lot of people you probably only know Brandy for saying the sweetest things about Aaliyah. But did you know even though Brandy and Aaliyah had a strong friendship, in reality allegedly Brandy was not on good terms with Aaliyah especially around the time of her death.
Now it’s said that Aaliyah fell out with several people in the weeks leading up to her death for a myriad of reasons. Like Timbaland actually admitted that they were not on good terms with Aaliyah just before she passed.

The mysteries behind a few of the beefs were revealed in bits and pieces( and none is all that surprising). Aaliyah beefs with timbaland, ginuwine and missy (her and missy's feud lasted for about 5 and a half minutes) started because of barry hankerson, while they fell out with him she stood by her uncle even though she wasn't completely happy with him either. but barry instigated it more by playing victim , acting like they were lying on him and trying to sabotage him. tim added to it being petty which backfired at the end. she was only on good terms with missy who saw her right before she went to the Bahamas.

Brandy is so phony. I remember back in the 90’s in an interview when Brandy made negative comments about Aaliyah’s clothing. So, there’s no allegedly. Brandy did talk trash about her. It was just jealousy.

Sounds like she was set up. Ppl were telling her secrets that her trusted confidants were doing and it hurt her to the point she didn’t want to talk to them. That was to keep them out of her life so she could be taken advantage of…sad😢

Brandy & Aaliyah never had any problems. If anything, the issues were between their managers. But Aaliyah & Brandy got along just fine. They were friends until Aaliyah's untimely death.
