There was no gap between a healthy Knicks team and the Boston Celtics. Now the Knicks that finished the season which was half of their team there was a gap in that. But the Knicks healthy was already the better team. These announcers forget that the Knicks was playing with their bench in the second half of the season. Not their starters. And they were one game away from the conference finals. So to say that there was this big gap between the Knicks and Celtics is simply not true at all. The Knicks was actually better than the Celtics before they lost half their roaster to injuries. Getting Mikal only widens the gap between the Knicks and Celtics with the Knicks being above them. If the Knicks can avoid significant injuries this season. I will be proven correct. Go back and look at the Knicks vs Celtics in January before Julius Randle got hurt and they had their starting lineup outside of missing Mitchel Robinson. Blew them boys out.

Plus Mica was all defensive team at Phoenix! People forget that; got a team who can defend against Boston. In fact, Boston has a matchup issue against Randle. Who plays him on defense? The old guy?

With a healthy OG, Hart and Bridges the Knicks can play Randle at the 5 at some times. Wing defense matters in the league and they have enough finish possessions with rebounds
