  • As a Nets fan, I could not be any happier. Finally, we are in the process of going into a full-scale rebuild, this time with draft capital at our disposal. Not only that, but it is expected that Brooklyn is going to be in fire sale mode, which can lead to even more picks and assets. We now have a reason to be bad, and go after Cooper Flagg, Ace Bailey, and the stacked 2025 draft class.
  • You have to be a bit more than a casual to understand why the value was there for the Knicks to trade those picks for Bridges. The way the CBA is today you can't have more than maybe 2 max contracts on your team, Bridges may not be an all-star as of today, but his contract is VERY team friendly. If you compare it to Paul George for example hes being paid 30+ more mil a year. These types of contracts are what is so valuable to a team like the Knicks who are in win now mode. Its much more than just that as well with team chemistry, elite defense, age and what not. It is a situation where the value is hard to see but it is 100% there.
  • Adding bridges just makes the bench that much more deadly since Donte will be moving back there
  • @boris2997
Those picks don't mean anything especially when the Knicks are ready to win now
  • I mean the PF minutes are also because our 2 PFs in Randle and Bogie got hurt
  • @renzoenzo7535
    Knicks C - Hartenstein F - Randle F - OG F - Mikal G - Jalen Bench: Hart, Donte, Burks, Robinson
  • Glad someone says that Donovan Mitchell trade would have been a bad trade
  • @jey524
The team chemistry will be top notch

I wouldn’t say they traded away their entire future? They have 2 first round picks 24, and 2 in 25. ThESE picks traded away wouldnt have mad much of a difference anyways as the knicks arent exactly good at drafting good moldable, sustainable players. The knicks had tons of picks and they decided to cash in. Nets got an A+ deal, but the knicks didnt exactly get fleeced or trade away their future as some ppl are saying. If they can keep OG, then find a reliable center… then stay healthy… boy they looking real good in the east

Ah I was scrolling on YouTube and I came across your video and I thought to myself this guy is awfully familiar. Then I realized this guy was my a big part of my childhood and I don’t know how I forgot you. I just want to thank you for those wilt stories and those nba conspiracies your really awesome man. Thanks for being part of my childhood
  • @MikesDetail
Love the fit & they should be a good team. Need better rim protection tho & height
  • @humanrich
If it exists there is a bad Stephen A. Smith take about it.
  • i really don’t see mikal playing much power forward with randle back in action, hart off the bench, and og and precious still being more fit for the role
  • If they do resign OG that's a good move Mikal at the 4 would've made the knicks to small... I think they need to trade Randle for a C That's not Mitchell Robinson so many injuries... Brunson Donte Mikal OG Jarrett Allen with Josh Hart 6th man would be an interesting team
  • @immortalfit
I think the gap between the Celtics is still there . The knicks guard rotation is too small , it’s a weakness that Boston can attack which would give them the advantage
  • @devilboy3092
They really only played PF because Randle was injured. The man who started this all is coming back to take his spot and take this team to the next level, i cant wait
