So, the Hornet starting price of $31,400 is the problem, maybe making it in Italy and shipping it to the US wasn't the smartest move, it's a compact CUV and a Dodge, prices need to be much lower, then realize you need to undercut known player in that market, that have been there for years (decades)

You’ll never drive off a lot with one for under $30k. No sunroof, only front wheel drive, makes a good rental car though.

My old 6 cyl F150 wasn't that far off MPG from the Hornet. Those are terrible numbers for a small vehicle.

Dodge can't make a motor that goes over 70,000 mi without blowing up. You could do oil changes every thousand Miles I don't care it's 70,000 me at things going to grenade on you.. they all do..

They are about $10k cheaper than their cousin the Tonale. I own a 2024 Dodge Hornet GT AWD. It currently has over 17k on the odometer. I am very happy with it. Engine specs- Dodge Hornet GT taps a 2.0-liter turbo-4 making 268 hp and 295 lb-ft. Nine-speed automatic. It's no slouch. I have caught many off guard on the road.

Totally agree, to me there is nothing wrong with the Hornet. My buddy has an R/T. It performs nicely and is an Hybrid. Save a lot of fuel. Its just overpriced. Plus Dodge offered performance varients. Were are those models???!!

Looked at these when they debuted and the price was botched from the jump. Researched a bit more about parts and production and it seemed wise to avoid its initial iteration.
