The high-profile Karen Read murder case went to trial as jury selection began in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham, MA.

Read is accused of killing John O’Keefe, her Boston police officer boyfriend, after a night of drinking. She's pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder, motor vehicle manslaughter, and leaving the scene of a collision in connection with O’Keefe’s death.

Read's lawyers claim she is being framed, and that O’Keefe was beaten and attacked by a dog inside the home of another Boston police officer.

LiveNOW's Andrew Craft discussed the case with legal analyst Nicole DeBorde.

If you’re gonna report on this get the facts straight.
  • Officer John O’Keefe was her boyfriend, not her husband! Whoa huge mistake!

I went to YouTube lawschool and I know way more than this lady. Fact checking is so simple 🙄

Wow! Fox News you should be better. This is why main stream coverage isn’t great.
  • @kubiegirl
Wow she has so many errors in this appearance. They were not married, she said it’s a manslaughter charge. I think Fox News needs to do a much better job of finding people who actually know about the cases they are talking about.
  • @JM-lk8uy
This lady has no clue what she’s talking about. SMH.
  • Nicole doesn't sound like she's followed this at all, perhaps watched a shorts summary.
  • @Whatahotmess
Listen lady be quiet and they are not married get your fact right !!! You need to do more research
  • @2TurntKaren
Aren’t jurors supposed to be biased on the side of innocence going into the trial?
  • NOT HER HUSBAND!!!!? Once again.....another college educated professional that has absolutely no clue. Once again we are seeing how little trust we can have in any media outlet Zero research. Clueless on the facts...
  • @MissesCakes
So glad you’re finally coming around to covering this story. Everybody should be very afraid in this country and everybody should be covering the story.
  • @rickeyrick1
Tons of evidence and police reports and this guest describes the sequence of events like she overhead the story from a drunk in a bar. Starting with saying he was her husband... He was her boyfriend. And she just makes the rest up too.
  • @UTubemar25
She is not married to him. This is just boyfriend girlfriend. Of 2 years!!!!!!
  • @colbaltanne
Nicole should be "fired" for not doing her homework. So many inaccuracies!
  • @MassBorn
Oh wow, the officer who owned the house retired? Sold his dog and the house and left? AND NOONE IS ASKING WHY?
  • Can she stop calling him her husband.... it's inappropriate. Be professional. How can you not know that detail.????
