Everyone is smoking weed instead of drinking booze.

The younger generation has less money than their parents

Too many wine producers!

when we are working like slaves, we don't drink wines, we drink energy drinks
-
If this was caused by over supply, why aren’t wine prices dropping? Not that I care that much.
-
... over priced and over hyped.
-
I drank box wine once. It made me want to own multiple cats and cry about not being able to find a good man... Never again...

Sell it for less money don't keep your price so high

another conglomerate buying small quality wineries and ruining them. They raise prices, lay off long term employees to be replaced with younger less experienced people and pay them less. Most CA wines are way overpriced. We switched to French wines years ago, good quality for much less. One example is BR Cohn, my favorite. All the old employees were replaced. They removed the fermentation tanks, raised prices. When it was locally owned there were barbeques and car events every weekend adding to the positive energy. All gone now

If you "can't" sell your booze, it's over priced.

California wines, especially Napa and Sonoma are too expensive, better value to had from Australian, South American and South African wines.

Good I'm tired of them wasting our water on wine grapes.

I think Alcohol is going slowly out. The buzz is not ergonomical, it isn't worth the high for all the problems it causes with health and other things.
-
Consumption of alcohol is not healthy. And neither is being killed by a drunk driver.
-
It's an oversaturated market.
-
Why drink $15-20 wines when you can drink $3 bottles that are just as good and gives you the same buzz? Some people claim that they can taste the difference, but I call bullshit.
-
Few can afford wine now.
-
If you spend more than $10 a bottle, you've paid too much

In like 10 years, it will be popular and will be hip and old school

There were only 50-60 wineries in Napa when I was growing up. Now over 600
