YES! Thank goodness for this great video documentation of how to use the EdgeTX Buddy online flasher. It took me several uses of the tool before I could consistently remember what was needed for the "Connect Radio" step. Ok, connect it how? In firmware update mode? In SD card mode? In UART mode?! There's 6 different USB devices an EdgeTX handset can be, and only one works for this tool! 😅

Great stuff John! I can verify that the web version also works in the Microsoft Edge browser. After following your vid on fixing the driver, Buddy worked perfectly in MS Edge. Cheers!

I flashed my TX12MKII as you showed but the hardware page in my radio under options show luac, but no lua.

Thanks worked great except that transmitter screen was frozen first time I opened. After disconnecting and reconnecting transmitter battery all was good.

I am still on version 2.6 - if I update to a later version will any of my model programming be adversely affected? Could it disrupt any settings, images or sounds etc?

Thank you for all your knowledge and guidance with Edge and Expresslrs, but what is the advantages of using Buddy over the radio Bootloader. To me the Bootloader is a lot faster, download the .bin and flash from the Bootloader. Am I missing something?

Hi John Tony here,Iam using a Spektrum system at the moment and Iam thinking of buying a radiomaster tx16s,so in you opinion if I go with the 4in1 modual will it work well with the Spektrum recivers I have already or should I go with the elrs internal modual,I fly a moxe of both glow planes and electric,thanks for you thoughts.

Over a year ago I was doing this flash stuff with buddy than downloading all this random crap they wanted me to download and swap different things in files and folders and after 48 freaking hours of trouble. I get ghost images on my TX16s of program files that have an underline in front of each name. Also, depending on my choices I either have different sets of switches that work and 3 that do not. I never knew updating would end up being the ultimate nightmare? So, do I just download the latest option to flash with buddy and that is all I need to do? I spent over 48 hours of frustration and finally just gave up on the whole thing!

Please remind me... wasn't there a version after which we no longer need to update the sd card/ sounds, etc? I'm still on 2.8.
