Desert combat extended AC-130

DCX mod creator here. I was known as Zeuser back in the day. That's the C-130 where we created a special material and collision mesh to allow transporting other vehicles. Worked great in single player. But multi-player was a big laggy because of the way it tracks multiple vehicles. So sometimes it thought the car had fell out because the position wasn't tracked properly. This was because of laggy network code. The AC-130 used the same airframe model for the most part. But we replaced the interior and added guns on the left side. we intended to use the C-130 on a map that would require you to move vehicles across the water so you could invade another country.

You can do this. With the AC-130 you can paradrop dune buggies from the door operator (position #6). The funny thing is that if you jump out the back at the right time and you then enter the dune buggy before it reaches the ground. Really fun stuff.

....you serious? This is for Desert Combat mod(for BF1942). and it's dead. Nobody plays it anymore. Rest in peace. best damn minimod ever made!

Almost forgot, check out my own video of the c-130. I made the video just after I had finished unit testing the ac-130 - c-130 modification. Yes, I used the ac-130 as a base copy for the c-130. Any clever modded will notice how the source code for both is so similar.

This is not the AC-130, this is the C-130. DCX has a transport C-130, as shown in the video, and a fully armed (with tons of guns) AC-130 as well.

This is not the ac-130. This is the c-130. I should know, I'm the guy who programmed dcx. The reason it looks so similar to the ac-130 is because the 3d model is the same. We originally made the ac-130 with the guns and the classic MOAB (an inside joke to those who know DCX). I then wanted a transport version to carry around vehicles. So I had monkeyphonics, the modeler, alter the material ids of the interior. Some guys on modding forums said it was impossible because the 2 vehicles would kee
