I went and attended a training camp practice going into his second year in Denver. I remember leaning over to my brother when the scrimmage started and said, “I want to see Peyton get mad.” Oh man did I get my wish. Ronnie Hillman ran the wrong route which caused him to throw an interception. Peyton went off. “We don’t know what the f***k we’re doing!” He ripped his helmet off and scolded Ronnie on the sideline. “If you don’t know the play Ronnie all you have to do is ask! Don’t guess!” Poor Ronnie looked like he wanted to crawl into a hole. There were thousands of fans there that saw all of it. After Peyton cooled down he put his arm around Ronnie and coached him up like a good leader. He then turned around and apologized for the language to the crowd and said he loved Ronnie Hillman. I will never forget that moment. Peyton was a fierce competitor, a strong motivator, and a great teammate.

Manning vs the crowd priceless

“Our idiot kicker” ... one of the best lines ever. Lol
-
Ahh... the good old days when the Chiefs went 2-14.

Peyton runs over to DJ Peyton: Retire DJ: Yes sir.

RIP Thomas great player on and off the field 🙏🏽

You know you're good when you're up by 14 with the ball, and only two minutes, and you yell at your team for having a false start.
-
Imagine you telling the crowd to keep it down and they actually do it what a goat 😂
-
Look at the scores..... I miss winning 🥺 #BroncosCountry

Watching Peyton orchestrate his offense was really something special. There's nobody like him in the NFL today.
-
When Manning was yelling at his line, it’s funny that the coaches were just sitting back and watching. He was just the leader of the team it’s cool that he was able to do that. So legendary

Peyton got his kicker kicked off the team with one interview😂

As smart as he was, as talented as he was, it was Peyton's leadership that separated him from all other quarterbacks. His last year when he could barely throw the ball, the respect he had from everyone in the organization is what got them over the hump. Even with that great defense, they do not win the Super Bowl without him.

This is the mindset of a ruthless winner. Look at the score in every clip. They're up a few tds in every one. Teammates, crowd and opponents better not make a mistake no matter the score.

Hall of famer just told the whole stadium to be quiet and they automatically listened. Legend

You missed "Goddammit Donald!" I die every time lmao
-
I loved the Manning - DJ altercation. Manning is just such a composed guy it was nice to see him break the mold and stick up for his team mate like that. Savage

The real GOAT. Period. I watched him and Brady destroy my favorite team in their primes, but when Peyton was on the field it was so much more apparent that everyone was playing HIS game.

That dude just commands respect. A true definition of a leader. As a Broncos fan, I am incredibly grateful we had him as our quarterback.
