Shes a real Asian grandma, scolds for bringing in unnecessary gifts, doesnt accept the money but shows it to everyone, shows how proud she is of Chris & to ensure that those ppl know how nice Chris is.
  • @Toymatos
Protect her at all costs. She is truly a grandmother, Loving and Caring.

Granny said " don't say the food was free, when it was a Gift". That had so much depth, it hit my heart!

Having a Vietnamese grandma is probably one of the greatest successes in life, Chris. Cherish her while she is still around. Cheers!

20:47 the way she adjusts his bag like a caring grandmother looking out for her beloved grandson...she's a wonderful woman
  • This reminds me a little of when I went to Japan. I was born there and left before I was 2 years old. When I was 11, we were living in Korea and my parents took me and my brother to Japan so I could see where I was born and started life. What I didn't know is there was an old woman who used to sometimes take care of me and she loved me so much when I was a baby. We went to visit her and she must have been in her 80s and she just cried and cried and said "Bikki-chan" over and over again. while hugging me. I don't think she ever thought she would see me or my parents again.

“Do you want to marry my daughter?” Such a grandma move lol
  • With so much hate around, this is so wholesome and much needed positive vibes we need.

Can we make a fundraiser for this kind soul? Grandma deserves the world!
  • @Meanderingotaku
Your Vietnamese is very impressive and the way you speak is very respectful... and you understand the culture so well. I love how the both of you are truly like family.
  • @shinsei_bby6290
she slapped that hand like any granny would when you try and help them “tsh go sit down” ahhh so sweet 😭😭
  • 1. Try give the money to the daughter
    2. Pay off her debt directly
    3. Save up money for the grandson to go to school and tell her.
    4. Take her on a trip and surprise her with something special when she comes back. Gifts have proven to be effective

I think she'd appreciate 3 since she mentioned how proud she was that her daughter went to school.

I just binged all the videos with her and they warmed my heart. She genuinely wants to love you guys without recieving money from you. She really does see you as her family. This is so special. ❤

As a Vietnamese man, the way her stance was at 2:45 with the hand behind her back. I just knew the moment you turned your back toward her, she was gonna try and sneak money in your pocket. Classic grandma move. 😂

If everyone had a grandma like that, the world would be a better place. The love, the concern, the care she exudes is so wonderful to see.
  • @candyman329
I like how she fed you both a variety of dishes then at the end said “go home and nap, you can eat when you wake up” lol ok grandma 😊
  • When she saw the money inside the envelope near the end and went "AYYY" I died laughing. Such a genuine lady, so precious.
  • @Melva-Tjong
She tries to be fair by giving you back some money, this is so amazing, she treats you like her grand sons. She is so sweet 😊
  • @lanho8337
